Doctor
Has anyone ever noticed that whenever a new member joins YCM, its says its their birthday on that day. I have given birthday reps to people but i try to give some and when i looked at their profile its say either; "Account Not Activated"or that they have no posts. Does anyone think that its not really their birthday and that they shouldnt be allowed to join? ~Discuss

MasterOfMagicians
Who cares?Reps don't mean anything? They don't change anything or give you any kind of status symbolism. Mostly they are used as awards in contests, so you can't even tell if the person is a halfway descent member becaue the rep system is used 99.9% of the time, for contests. Personally I don't care one way or another about the rep system or the points system. I've been actually trying to remove both from yugiohcardmaker forums since they do little use to anything except take up space.

Yankee
Reps do matter... Idc what you say, or what you think, the truth is, the more reps you have, usually, the more respect you get. Most people don't even bother to look at what each rep was for, they just look at how many. While I agree that most reps are for contests or for other, non important things, I do not agree that they are pointless. POINTS on the otherhand are just plain 100% pointless. Anyway, no, it's just some new members saying it's there B-day when they join, don't worry about it.
~Rebellious Rage~
Points are pointless good one Yankeefan.Any way points are used for shoops so they have a small point.
Yankee
Points are pointless good one Yankeefan.Any way points are used for shoops so they have a small point.Problem is, they are ONLY used on shops. Not alot of people use shops too. Plus, more often than not, the price is never above 10 points. I don't really see any need for points.
~Rebellious Rage~
Yah, your 100% correct, but some members like to use them for other reasons like clubs and stuff. Plus they keep constent spammers from disguiseing themselves with a new name.
Guest Tiger
This is what happened: A member joins in June and has a birthday in November. The edit their profile to their birthday and forget to come back / forget their password / something else, and they have no posts.

Larxene
No It matters how well known you are You could have 100 posts, and still be well known Draco has even less posts than you (I believe), and he's one of the most well known members on the entire site Also, points are for name changes
Guest Tiger
SO you're saying I'm well known? Yes, Draco has something like 2400 posts. I guess you're right, but still some people might not want name changes.
~Rebellious Rage~
I want a name change. Plus I'm glad thay cost 1000 points other wise newbies will change there name when they spam and everyone else MIGHT change there name so often I won't know who is who.
