Bloodrun
I want to get a dog, thought ill have to talk through with the rents first.. but the type of dog I want to get, are as follows: # German Shepherd: These herding dogs were originally used as watchdogs and guard dogs, but they make great dogs for companionship and families as well. Special Notes: German Shepherds have strong personalities and require a strong, assertive owner, along with adequate space to run around (they make great running companions, too). # Bulldog: A jovial and comical dog, among the most docile and mellow of all breeds, bulldogs make excellent pets for children. Most are willing to please and are very friendly. Special Notes: Bulldogs like to be taken outdoors daily, but cannot tolerate hot, humid weather. They also cannot jog or walk great distances, and don't jump or swim. Most bulldogs wheeze and snore, while some drool. They are prone to dermatitis in their skin folds, so the wrinkles on their face must be cleaned daily. * Boxer: Boxers are playful, inquisitive, devoted and demonstrative, making them ideal companions. They are generally very responsive to commands, and have outgoing, yet attentive, personalities. Special Notes: Boxers need daily mental and physical exercise, such as going for long walks and runs (as long as it's not hot outside). Also, some of them snore Ok, you see, I want a dog that will fit my personality, hence the pitbull/boxer, but I also want a loyal dog, hence the german shepard.. =/>.< Now that I think about it, an Alaskan Mallmute(sp) would be good to, but I seriously doubt I can find any where I am, without paying the big bucks... Guest JoshIcy
Lol well let me break it down in Raw form for you. German Shepherds need to be trained around the family, because while they are loyal and wonderful pets they only like what they were raised around once they are larger than pups.Loyalty Bar None though. Bulldogs/Pitbulls are a sort of chance due to their slack like behavior but seemingly incredible speed and power. If you want this dog its because you love your family moments in extreme moderation and want a guard dog. Boxers are just scruffy, if you can keep up and want a friendly dog through and through get this one. I myself would go for the German Shepherd. Guest JoshIcy
snoutless dogs have a sort of Punched in face look <_<, and the rest has large snouts. Not too hard... But it would help to see if there is a breeder at the place. They can tell you the breeds better than anyone...

Zeroshot
If you want a dog, I'd get a Siberian Husky. They're generally easy to train it. (basicly, not like, tricks or anything. Just "Hey, go take dumps outside" or "No eating other family members"And affectionate. Out of the list, a German Shep.Don't know much about'em but they're pretty awesome looking.
