PrometheusMFD
Ok, this happened to me on monday.I was walking home from the public library after it closed (I don't have internet at home), and it is dark and cold and raining. So I get walking, and the first half goes off without incident. But it is below freezing, and raining (not hard, but enough that it is wet all over). So I cross into the railroad tracks that lead a nice, straight path to my house. I start walking on them, and imediately notice that the railroad ties are icey. I learned this when I fell down hard on my stomach, arm pinned under me. I thought I heard a cracking noise as I fell. So I attempt to get up, and my arm starts burning daggers. I look down to see my hand bending at right-angles down from where my elbow is bending. So naturally I freak out.Eventually, after forcing myself not to pass-out, I unzip both my jackets, and remove my shirt. Using nearby metal poles, each at about an inch in diameter (don't ask me why they were there, I don't know either), and tear my shirt into strips, using them to tie the poles into a splint. This took a while since my arm seared with a firey pain every time I tried to reallign it.After nearly passing out again, I managed to fashion a pretty sturdy splint. I got up, and realizing home was closer to any other phone nearby (I live in the country, and I still had a mile to go). So I get walking again, warry of the icey ties. For a few minutes, nothing interesting happened.Until I slipped again (what, I got used to the way I was walking and slipped on more ice). This time, not only did I fall on my broken arm (which hurt like hell, and this time I passed out for a few minutes), but as I got up, my face was covered in a warm, sticky substance.Blood.I had broken my nose.So now I was bleeding profusely, and my arm was pain incarnate. I continued walking. The rest of the way home, I was extra carefull of ice and my arm, which resulted in me getting home fifteen minutes later than usual.I walked up the steps to the door, stepping lightly lest the concrete be covered with ice. I turn the nob, and BAM! the door flies open in my face.It was my dad leaving to come pick me up (45 minutes after they close, I might add).I don't remember the next part, but I woke yesterday morning with a cast on my arm and my nose coated in gauze. As I stood up from my bed, I didn't notice the cat sleeping below. Now my ankle is covered in bandages, and I have cat-scratch fever (illness brought on by bacteria underneath a cat's claws).Man this sucks! Koji123456789
I broke my nose and that's the most serious injury I have gotten . It all started when I was 6 yrs. old and watching the movie, "James and the Giant Peach". So, me and my sister, Abby, got bored and put blankets over our heads. I know, crazy. Abby carelessy crashed into me, causing me to tumble over and smash my nose into the coffee table. It was swollen and I got a black eye. It was not fun. :(I broke a nail Wow.... Just kidding. Spiff!
i reckon my worst injury is either a suspected wrist sprain smacking someone in the head from behind,i mean really shoving them...or that time i defended my brother against a rabid 10 year old called Ross.i got a fractured finger.it hurt like shiz. oh,actually,my BEST INJURY EVER was when my foot got run over by a big lorry-van thing.i pickup van,i suppose.funnily enough,my dad run over the same foot when i was like 4,and it had been a bit iffy since, but after that van thing,it's FINE. wierd, huh? Cin
I'm lucky I don't get many 'bad' injuries, I used to forever be cutting my knees tho. Mine:- Pulled the muscle in my left forearm could not write or grip anything for several days because it hurt too much, got a day off school and did very little work that next day.- Nearly knocked myself out when I hit my head on the door frame for the bathroom (I'm forever banging my head and toes)- When I was younger I cut my knee and elbow when I fell of my bike, both pussed. Καsτοr
Oh, and I my friends, almost destroyed by right jaw. I was playing my trumpet, when I tried to do a really, really, really high note. It would've destroyed my jaw if I hadn't stopped. This happened a couple minutes ago.
