I apologize, but this episode of Smackdown is actually a shortened version. I try not to do shortened versions, but I've got some things to do this weekend and I need to write the 3-Hour Raw, so please make an exception.

 

[spoiler=Smackdown - May 29, 2009] ~Kurt Angle opens the show with Vladimir Kozlov and The Great Khali. Angle explains that two weeks ago, when he stopped Vladimir Kozlov from attacking Alex Walker after the match, he did it with good intentions. After the match, he realized something. He realized that he and Kozlov were very similar in that they were the best athletes from their respective countries. Angle says that he got the idea to create a new group, a group comprised of only the best athletes from different countries around the world. He says that Kozlov and Khali are not the only members that will join the group, and that there are at least three members waiting to join.

 

Vladimir Kozlov takes the microphone and says that he will make an example out of Ted DiBiase in the Main Event. Vince McMahon makes his way to the ring and tells Angle that when he said whoever was responsible would pay, he meant it. We learn that at Extreme Rules, Kurt Angle will team up with The Great Khali and Vladimir Kozlov to take on the team of John Bradshaw Layfield, Randy Orton, and Ted DiBiase.

 

~The new WWE Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston defeated Alex Walker with the Trouble in Paradise Kick. Kofi shook Alex Walker's hand after the match in a sign of respect.

 

~Todd Grisham interviews "The Legend Killer" Randy Orton. He asks Orton what happened to change Orton's mind about Cena. Orton says that he doesn't like Cena, and that he never has. The reason he's doing what he's doing is because even he knows when someone crosses the line, and that's what Kurt Angle did. Orton says that Angle is far from the best athlete, and he'll prove that at Extreme Rules.

 

~Amber Wattkins & The Bella Twins defeated Maryse, Rachel Delta, & Victoria when Amber Wattkins pinned Rachel Delta following a Spear.

 

~It was announced that Amber Wattkins would face Rachel Delta next week on Smackdown.

 

~A promo for the 3-Hour Raw aired.

 

~Todd Grisham interviews Kurt Angle. Grisham asks Angle why he hit John Cena with the car two weeks ago. Angle says that John Cena is a bad example of a good American, and that the worst has yet to come for Cena. Santino Marella interrupts Angle's interview and asks to join Angle's group. Angle laughs and begins to walk away, but stops. He tells Santino that if he can defeat John Cena on the 3-Hour Raw, he can join the group. The only thing is that Santino has to make the challenge; Angle's not going to do it for him.

 

~The Great Khali defeated Curt Hawkins following a Punjabi Plunge.

 

~Vince McMahon was in his office. John Cena came in. Vince tells Cena that he had spoken to the doctors and that - unfortunately - Cena wouldn't be medically cleared to compete for at least two months. Cena says that he heard what Kurt Angle said to Santino and that - medically cleared or not - he was going to accept Santino's challenge.

 

~It was announced that Sammy Lee will make his return to the ring in two weeks.

 

~Vickie Guerrero announced that Kurt Angle, The Great Khali, Randy Orton and John Bradshaw Layfield were banned from ringside for the Vladimir Kozlov vs. Ted DiBiase Match.

 

~Vladimir Kozlov defeated Ted DiBiase following an Iron Curtain Chokeslam. After the match, Kurt Angle and The Great Khali came to the ring and attacked DiBiase. Orton and JBL tried to make the save, but they were taken down by Kozlov.

 

~Vince McMahon announced that Chris Jericho and Dolph Ziggler would team up to take on CM Punk and a partner of Punk's choosing. The announcers wondered if Punk would be able to find a Tag Team Partner.

 

~We hear the

of Extreme Rules, You're Going Down by Sick Puppies, and get a look at the current Extreme Rules Match Card.

 

~CM Punk & Triple H defeated Chris Jericho and Dolph Ziggler when Triple H pinned Dolph Ziggler following a Pedigree. The Game and Punk celebrated in the ring after the match.

The fans leap to their feet in excitement and begin to cheer as The Brothers Colon make their way into the arena. Primo is dressed in street clothes, as he's not scheduled to be competing, while Carlito is dressed in his normal ring attire. Their World Tag Team Championships - Primo's around his waist and Carlito's around his neck - shine from the arena lights. They each walk down a seperate side of the ramp, high-fiving some fans along the way.

[color=red]”Well, I can’t think of a better way to get the show started than with Raw’s own, Primo Colon, in action!”[/color]

[color=blue]”Carlito and Primo have continued to win matches week after week, Michael! They’re on such a roll right now that I don’t know if anyone can beat them!”[/color]

[color=red]”Carlito and Primo winning the World Tag Team Championships back at Wrestlemania 25, and they’ve held onto the Titles ever since!”[/color]

The crowd boos as The Miz enters the arena. The Chick Magnet strides confidently to the ring, making mocking faces at a couple of disappointed fans in the front row. The fans respond with boos, but The Miz shakes them off and smiles before entering the ring. He climbs the turnbuckle and crosses his arms on his chest before raising them in the air and taunting as the crowd continues to boo. He walks past Primo and asks for a microphone.

[color=red]”The Miz has strived to make an impact since being Drafted to Raw last December, and some people think that he's finally succeeded at doing so."[/color]

[color=blue]"Two weeks ago The Miz faced Kane for an opportunity at the World Championship, but that didn't work out so well. A victory over Primo tonight could get him back on the right path."[/color]

Boos fill the arena as The Chick Magnet's music stops and he stands in the center of the ring with a microphone. Primo watches from the corner, anxiously waiting for the "promo" to end so the match can get underway. "You know somethin? Back when I was on ECW, I saw a lot of success in the ring. I was one-half of the longest reigning WWE Tag Team Champions in the history of World Wrestling Entertainment." "You Suck!" chants fill the arena. "That's what's funny about you people--the boos. You all boo me, but if you were to actually step into the ring with me, there's no doubt in my mind who would be left standing. See, I am beyond great. This Antonio Benderez wannabe that I'm supposed to face tonight is just a step on my path to becoming World Champion. Why? Because I'm The Miz, and I'm awesome!"

First Match: Primo (w/Carlito) vs. The Miz

Match: A "Let's Go Primo!" chant from the crowd gets this match underway, and the two lock up in the center for a test of strength. Primo gets the better of it, but Miz hits a Cheap Shot Kick to the chest, gaining the early advantage. "The Chick Magnet" clubs Primo in the back twice, taking him to the mat. He tries an early cover..."1! 2!" but to no avail. After a minute of yelling at the Referee, Miz tries an Elbow Drop, only for Primo to roll out of the way. Primo gets back into it with a Dropkick to the face, taking Miz down and gaining the upper hand.

[color=blue]"You know I've said it before, I say it pretty much every week, but Primo and Carlito seem to gain the advantage in a match out of nowhere. One second Miz is in complete control, and one mistake completely changes that."[/color]

[color=red]"No doubt Primo and Carlito will come at you with everything they've got and more, and that's part of the reason they're such fan favorites."[/color]

Primo tries a Standing Moonsault, but Miz rolls out of the way just in time. A powerful Lariat Clothesline from The Miz follows, taking Primo to the mat. The crowd boos as Miz taunts in the center of the ring. Miz Irish Whips Primo into the corner and goes for a Running Lariat, but Primo dodges it and Miz runs right into the turnbuckle, getting himself caught between the ropes. Primo hits a Dropkick to the back, "tieing Miz up in the tree of woe". The crowd cheers as Primo hits a Dropkick to the face, this time taking Miz out of the corner. He pulls him to the center and hooks the leg..."1! 2! Three--no!" Miz kicks out. Carlito tells his brother to stay focused and Primo goes back to work, hitting a Standing Leg Drop.

[color=red]"The Miz said earlier that Primo is a step on his path to becoming World Champion. Right now it looks like Primo's just stepping on The Miz."[/color]

[color=blue]"It looks that way, Michael. I wonder if there's anyone in the Raw Locker Room that will be able to defeat either Carlito or Primo."[/color]

Primo goes to the top rope as The Miz gets to his feet, dazed. He leaps...[b]FLYING CROSSBODY[/b]?! No! Miz ducks it! Miz turns around...Primo with the Enziguri! Primo taunts to a huge pop before going to the top rope once again! [b]MOONSAULT![/b] Hooks the leg..."1! 2! Three--no!" Another kickout! Primo goes for a Clothesline, but Miz ducks it. Miz hits the kick to the chest...Reality Check? No! Primo dodges it! [b]BACKSTABBER[/b]! Cover! "1! 2! 3!"

Winner: Primo

[color=red]"Yet another victory for Primo, King! The Colons are rollin here on Monday Night Raw!"[/color]

[color=blue]"I wonder how The Miz feels about this, Michael!"[/color]

[color=red]"The Miz probably doesn't know where he is right about now after that Backstabber."[/color] Cole laughs.

[color=blue]"Well Michael, we still have a huge night ahead of us! Everyone is wondering who that former World Champion is, but we won't find out until later on!"[/color]

We return and both teams are already in the ring.

Match Two: Evan Bourne & Ren vs. The Hart Dynasty [ECW Tag Team Championships]

Match: Tyson Kidd starts out in the ring with Evan Bourne, the quick young-guns circle one another in the center of the ring, Kidd attempts to lock up but Bourne avoids the grapple and kicks Tyson in the back of the knee, Bourne continues to kick away at Kidd's Knee, before nailing a big kick to the head. Bourne moves to the corner and tags Ren who attempts to cut Tyson Kidd off at the pass as he moves to tag David Hart-Smith, but Kidd kicks him off and makes the tag.

[color=green]This match has started out great but just who will leave as the ECW Tag Team Champions, Matt?[/color]

[color=brown]"It's gonna be an awesome match either way, but my gut's telling me that we're gonna have new Champions here tonight."[/color]

Smith runs in, attempts a Clothesline on Ren, who ducks runs to the ropes. Springboard Bulldog!

Cover 1...2.. Kick out!

Natalya Niedhart starts to make her way down to ringside, to the confusion of the fans, and to the team of Ren and Bourne.

[color=brown]"That was an incredible move and credit goes to DH Smith for kicking out, but what's Natalya doing out here?"

Ren stares at Natalya in confusion and Smith blasts him in the back of the head. Before throwing him shoulder first into the turnbuckle and tagging Kidd before the pair begin to stomp away at the grounded high-flier, before finally the referee manages to get DH Smith to the Apron of the ring. Kidd drags Ren into the center of the ring and applies a Sharp Shooter – shades of his mentor Bret "The Hitman" Hart, and Natalya applauds on the outside, and says something like “Make him tap Tyson!”

[Color=green]"That's a Sharpshooter, that torturous mark of the Hart Dungeon is showing clearly here!"[/color]

[color=brown]"Ren's a very resilient Athlete but I don't know how long he can take this for, I'd probably have tapped out by now myself."[/color]

Ren starts to crawl towards Bourne who cheers him on beginning a “Let's go Ren” chant, Ren, Kidd and all manages to drag himself to Bourne, can he make the tag? Yes! Bourne comes in, and blasts Kidd in the back of the head with a brutal kick, much to the dismay of Natalya and Smith. Ren rolls from the ring, both his arm, and his knee in pain, as Bourne attempts a cover on Kidd.

1...2...3-No! Kidd kicked out! Bourne taunts, signaling for the Shooting Star Press, climbs the turnbuckle, but Kidd makes it to his feet and the two begin to trade blows above the ring.

[color=brown]"These two great superstars are doing Battle up there in no-man's land but only one's going to leave of his own accord."[/color]

Superplex! Tyson Kidd hit the Superplex!

After about 5 seconds of both men laying lifeless on the ground being willed on by their partners, Tyson stands. Kidd to the apron, looking for a Springboard Elbow drop, Bourne rolls out of the way and makes a tag to Ren, who with difficulty climbs to the top rope and delivers a 1-legged missile dropkick to Tyson Kidd. Ren's clearly favoring his right leg, since the Sharp Shooter.

Tyson Kidd, starts to crawl toward the tag, and Ren to run after him, limping on his injured leg. Kidd manages to get the tag to Smith who comes in hard with a clothesline on Ren, before going over to the corner, and taking a cheap shot on Bourne, who hits the steel steps on his fall. Ren gets to his feet, sucking up the pain, he runs to the ropes. Natalya pulls the rope down! Ren crashes to the floor, all his weight landing on that bad leg! The referee was too busy checking on Bourne to notice.

[color=green]"Come on! That's just not fair! Ren might be seriously injured here!"[/color]

[color=brown]"And look at the faces on the Hart Dynasty! They're proud of themselves!"[/color]

Kidd throws Ren back into the ring, before getting tagged in by Smith, and re-applying the Sharp Shooter, this time Ren has no choice but to tap out.

Winners [and the new ECW Tag Team Champions]: Tyson Kidd & David Hart Smith

Natalya fetches the tag team championship belts, and comes into the ring, handing them to Kidd and Smith, who celebrate while Ren is helped from the arena by Bourne and some trainers.

[color=green]"I guess you were right, Matt! We've got new Champions, I just wish the match ended a little differently.[/color]

Commercial break

"Ladies and gentlemen I am standing outside Mr. McMahon's office, and I'm going to try to see if we can get an update on the Former World Champion that will be returning tonight." Todd Grisham knocks on Vince McMahon's door.

The door opens and Mr. McMahon steps out. The crowd cheers a bit. "Can I help you?" Vince stares at Todd, curious to see what he has to say, while at the same time looking like he doesn't give a d*mn.

"Mr. McMahon I was wondering if you could give us some sort of update on who the Former World Champion is that will be making his return tonight?"

"Todd, I know you're anxious to know, as is everyone else. I've decided that I'm going to make a major announcement tonight after the Main Event. Once that announcement is finished, I'll bring out the Former World Champion and everyone - including you - will find out who he is." Vince walks away and Todd Grisham steps back, looking at Vince with a bit of a confused look.

"Well there you have it, ladies and gentlemen. We're going to find out later tonight just who the Former World Champion is."

[color=red]"King, I'm even more anxious now than I was before. Not only will Mr. McMahon make a major announcement, he's going to bring out this Former World Champion. Any ideas who it'll be?"[/color]

[color=blue]"I've got a few guesses, but I'll keep them to myself for now."[/color]

[color=red]"Well, coming up next, Ace Diamond has been a huge fan of Shawn Michaels all his life, and he's going to make his official return to Raw right here tonight. Ace couldnt've chosen a better time to return as Shawn Michaels is going to step into the ring with The Rated-R Superstar Edge in just six days at Extreme Rules."[/color]

[b]Ace Diamond in action [Up Next][/b]

Commercial break

Ace Diamond walks down to the ring high-fiving some fans, he gets into the ring, to a big pop -probably just because of his association with Shawn Michaels. His opponent Scott Roadchild, a local athlete, receives a reasonably large pop, this kid's whole family, and all his friends are watching.

The bell rings, and Roadchild goes straight for Ace, and delivers a few hard rights, Ace simply pushes his opponent away, into the corner. He runs, jumps and knee's the opponent in the jaw, leaving him dazed as he falls, slumped on the mat below, Diamond runs to the corner, and the opponent is quick to dodge, apparently he was playing possum. Ace hits the turnbuckle, and staggers back only to be hit with a reverse Neckbreaker!

[color=red]"This could be it king! Who'd have thought this kid Roadchild had it in him?"[/color]

[color=blue]"Wow! This is..."[/color]

Cover 1..2 Kick out!

[Color=blue]"I was about to say this was a major upset, but just like that Ace Diamond proves me wrong!"[/color]

Roadchild gets to his feet, at about the same pace as Diamond, both men off the ropes, Double-Clothesline in the works, no Diamond changes his mind, ducks Roadchild, both men turn! Super Kick! Ace pulls the almost surely unconscious Scott Roadchild to his feet. Diamond Breaker to a mixed reaction, on one hand, they like Ace Diamond, on the other he just annihilated one of the City's most promising up-and-coming athletes.

Cover 1...2...3! It's over, thanks for coming Scott.

Winner: Ace Diamond

The crowd boos as the new WWE Champion Chris Jericho walks out onto the stage, dressed in a black dress suit. He walks down the ramp, receiving many boos from the crowd. The WWE Championship is around his waist. He climbs the stairs and moves into the ring as his music fades.

[color=purple]"Ladies and gentlemen good evening! This is Good Ol' J.R. Jim Ross alongside Tazz, and we're live on the special Three-Hour Edition of Monday Night Raw!"[/color]

[color=orange]"And J.R., Mr. McMahon said earlier that a Former World Champion would be returning tonight, and that he had a major announcement to make. Do you think any of this will have anything to do with Smackdown?"[/color]

[color=purple]"I have no idea, Tazz. I do know that we're being joined by the WWE Champion Chris Jericho, who apparently has something to say."[/color]

Jericho asks for a microphone. The crowd boos heavily as he stands in the center of the ring. "Things never change. You know it's funny--I was here on Raw months ago and you people were just as miniscule and unimportant as you are now. In my life, Chris Jericho matters, and that's about it." Boos fill the arena. "At Extreme Rules, I have to defend the WWE Championship against CM Punk." The words "CM Punk" get a huge pop from the crowd. "Sure, you all cheer for CM Punk. Why? I'll tell you why. CM Punk is just like the rest of you; he's a hypocrite. He claims to be Straightedge and thinks it makes him a good person. I've got some news for you Punk; it doesn't. Straightedge or not, you're still a loser. Your WWE Championship Reign was a fluke. The only reason you held that Championship for as long as you did is because I wasn't on Smackdown yet. I wasn't here to take it away from you. I am the best in the world at what I do, and no one has been able to disprove that. So Punk, at Extreme Rules, when you and I face off, that'll be the end of it. I'm going to defeat you and remain WWE Champion. In fact, Punk, I'm going to remain WWE Champion for a long, long time." Jericho stands in the center of the ring, receiving major heat from the crowd. He smiles, enjoying the fact that he's insulted the fans.

[color=purple]"Chris Jericho is very straightforward. He's confident that he's going to defeat CM Punk, and as much as I don't like Jericho's actions as of late, it's hard to argue with his success."[/color]

[color=orange]"J.R., I don't know what your problem is with Chris Jericho. The man finally realized that he had to put himself first instead of the fans, and he's seen a lot of success since then."[/color]

The crowd goes wild as The Animal's music hits and Batista enters the arena. He yells to the crowd, to hype them-and himself-up before walking onto the ramp. He flexes his muscles and taunts as a bunch of fireworks explode across the stage. He moves his right hand in a punch-like motion and more fireworks explode.

[color=purple]"It's Batista! The Animal is back, and he's got his sights set on Chris Jericho!"[/color]

[color=orange]"We haven't seen Batista since Backlash when Devon Immortal injured his ankle with a steel chair!"[/color]

Batista climbs the ring steps and enters the ring as Jericho has a confused look on his face. The Animal climbs to the top turnbuckle and taunts to the crowd to a huge pop. He steps down from the turnbuckle and turns his attention to Jericho. The crowd cheers as he asks for a microphone.

"You know Chris..." The Animal stops talking as "Batista" chants fill the arena. He looks around smiling as Jericho stares at him angrily. "Man it is great to be back!" More cheers fill the arena. "Chris, I have a question for you. I respect these people, I like these people, and I like to believe that what I do is right. Does that make a hypocrite, Chris?" Batista stares at the WWE Champion, who just returns the stare angrily. "You claim to be the best in the world at what you do. I'm not gonna lie; you're good Chris. You're one of the best athletes I know. But if I remember correctly, the last time you and I stepped into the ring, I kicked your a*s and took your World Heavyweight Championship." Another massive pop for The Animal as Jericho remains quiet. "I was out of action for about a month after Devon Immortal injured my ankle, but as of yesterday, I'm medically cleared to compete, and I'm ready to win back some World Championship Gold!" The crowd pops huge as Jericho tries to hit Batista with a Right Hand but gets dropped with a Spinebuster instead. The Animal taunts in the middle of the ring to a massive ovation. He shakes the ropes furiously before giving the Thumbs Down signal. He picks Jericho up and lifts him up for a Batista Bomb, but Jericho slides out of it and rolls out of the ring. He stands about six feet tall and the crowd doesn't really give him a reaction as he makes his way to the ring. He's wearing a pair of silver wrestling tights that say "Desa" on the back and a pair of silver wrestling boots.

[color=red]"Welcome back and we're ready to see the Debut of three-time National Wrestling Champion, Saruto Desa!"[/color]

[color=blue]"He's a big guy, Michael. He's actually bigger than Manu, and it's not too often you see someone like that."[/color]

[color=red]"Manu has been on a bit of a losing streak lately, and winning a match like this against someone with great credentials would help him further his career without a doubt."[/color]

Fourth Match: Saruto Desa vs. Manu

Match: The two superstars stand across from each other in the ring. Manu taunts, but gets booed by the crowd. Desa goes for a Clothesline, but Manu ducks it and hits a few Right Hands, sending the newcomer into the ropes. Desa rebounds with a Clothesline, this time taking Manu down. He grabs Manu's head and applies a Dragon Sleeper Hold. Manu gets to his feet slowly and uses his power to lift Desa over his shoulder before hitting him with an Oklahoma Slam. Cover by Manu..."1! 2!" Kickout! Manu yells at the Referee and gets some boos from the crowd. He ignores them, knowing that what's important is picking up a win.

[color=red]"Despite the slight size disadvantage, you gotta think Manu does have the experience in this matchup, which might make it a little difficult for Saruto Desa to gain control."[/color]

[color=blue]"Manu is the son of Afa The Wild Samoan, one of the greatest wrestlers I've ever seen, and Manu could very easily become just as successful."[/color]

Manu rebounds off the ropes and tries a Big Splash, but Desa rolls out of the way just in time. He realizes that he narrowly escaped defeat, and that he needs to capitalize. Manu sits up and Desa runs forward, kneeing him in the face. The crowd pops slightly as Desa goes to the top rope. He goes for a Diving Leg Drop and connects with it! Hooks the leg..."1! 2!" Manu kicks out! Desa pulls Manu to his feet and hits a Right Hand to the chest. He follows it up with another one. In an impressive display of strength, Desa lifts Manu up and hits a Powerbomb. Before letting go, he lifts Manu up and hits a second Powerbomb, this time to a bit of a pop. He keeps the Powerbomb "hold" locked in, turning it into a pinfall. "1! 2! 3!" That's all she wrote!

Winner: Saruto Desa

[color=red]"Game, set, match! I don't think I've ever seen Manu manhandled like that! Saruto Desa making a great impact on his first night, defeating Manu in a matter of minutes!"[/color]

The crowd pops huge as The Ballin’ Superstar enters the arena, dressed in his usual attire, except in red. The United States Championship is around his waist. He walks half-way down the ramp, stops, and extends one arm to each side as a stream of fire explodes from the ramp. The crowd pops once again and MVP high-fives a few fans before sliding into the ring. He bounces off the ropes, then bounces off the opposite ropes, before performing a “Ballin’!” Taunt for the crowd.

The inside of the ring has the usual VIP Lounge setup (two leather recliners, a leather couch, and a VIP Lounge Ring Canvas), but there are some weapons inside the ring and outside of the ring that are wrapped in Barbed Wire.

[color=red]"Welcome back to the longest running episonic television show in history! King, look around the ringside area. There are trash cans, steel chairs, kendo sticks, and even pieces of plywood wrapped in Barbed Wire."[/color]

[color=blue]"I see them, Michael. The way a Barbed Wire Match works is that the ropes are made of Barbed Wire, and there are tons of weapons like the ones currently in the ringside area inside the ring. The only way to win the match is by pinfall or submission."[/color]

MVP enters the ring and gets a microphone. "Welcome to a very special edition of The V.I.P. Lounge, where the motto is: big things poppin', lil' things stoppin'! In just six days, at Extreme Rules, I'm going to compete in the biggest match of my career." The crowd cheers a little. "I have competed in an Inferno Match against Kane, I have faced Batista, Triple H, John Cena, The Undertaker, you name it!" A small pop from the crowd. "So I bet some of you are sittin out there wonderin why I'm sayin this match is the biggest. Let me explain somethin to ya. In a Barbed Wire Match, anything and everything can and will hurt you. The ropes, they're not made of threads or cloth or anythin like that; they're made of Barbed Wire. Real, dangerous Barbed Wire." The crowd pops. "The weapons, trash cans, steel chairs, ladders, kendo sticks, tables, plywood boards; they're wrapped in Barbed Wire. A chair shot from a Barbed Wire Chair hurts about ten times more than a chair shot from a regular steel chair. In a Barbed Wire Match, there are no turnbuckle pads. They're exposed; they're cold steel and they will split you open. My point is, I'm stepping into the ring with a man that I've had a long rivalry with, and the two of us are going to tear each other apart until one of us is unable to move." "MVP" chants fill the arena as the crowd starts to get excited about the match. "But ya know somethin? No matter how tough it gets, no matter how much I wanna quit, it ain't gonna happen. This United States Championship means the world to me, and I'm not gonna let Striker Boyd take that away. When all is said and done, I will leave Extreme Rules...your United States Champion! I am MVP, and I'm ballin'!" The crowd begins to cheer wildly as MVP stands in the center of the ring.

"So let's bring out my guest for this evening, my opponent at Extreme Rules, Striker Boyd!"[/color]

Tons of boos fill the arena as the former United States Champion, Striker Boyd, emerges on the stage. A cocky smile lines his face as he walks to the ring, looking ready to inflict pain. The fans boo as he walks by them, but he doesn't care.

[color=red]"MVP is confident; that much is a given. MVP has the experience factor in this match as he's faced pretty much every superstar on the WWE Roster, but as we learned earlier tonight, experience isn't everything."[/color]

[color=blue]"Striker Boyd is vicious, but he manages to win matches. Either way, at Extreme Rules, this rivalry is going to come to an end."[/color]

Boyd steps into the ring and locks eyes with MVP. He gets a microphone. "I'm not gonna stand out here and talk about how dangerous this match is going to be. You see, when there's some kind of dangerous environment, I feel more at home. At Extreme Rules, you and I can destroy each other and there's nothing anyone can do about it." The crowd cheers. "You say that you're going to leave Extreme Rules as the United States Champion. That's not going to happen. You've never beaten me in a one-on-one match, and that's not going to change at Extreme Rules. You're a techincal wrestler; I'm a brawler. We're in my environment at Extreme Rules, and you're the one that's going to be left in the center of the ring unconscious. I can take pain; I've taken pain all my life. I lost my United States Championship without even being pinned, and the fact that I don't have it now is a complete disgrace. But I'm not going to complain about that because in just six days, I'm going to end this rivalry. It's going to end with me emerging victorious." Boos fill the arena. Boyd looks at MVP for a moment before walking out of the ring. He walks to the back, receiving boos from the crowd. MVP stands in the ring. He holds up the United States Championship Belt and the crowd pops.

[color=red]"The tension between these two is unbeliveable. At Extreme Rules, anything goes, and I think that both MVP and Striker Boyd are going to end up leaving Extreme Rules on stretchers."[/color]

[color=blue]"The first-ever Barbed Wire Match will take place this Sunday, and it's going to be remembered for a long time."[/color]

[color=red]"Coming up next, our Main Event! Kylarnartia has waited for weeks to get his hands on Mr. Kennedy, and tonight he'll have the chance! Mr. Kennedy makes his return to the ring to take on Kylarnartia! Next!"[/color]

[color=red]"What a Main Event Match this is going to be, King! Kylarnartia finally gets a chance to get his hands on the man that has "disrespected" him week after week for a while now!"[/color]

[color=blue]"I wonder if it was a wise move for Mr. Kennedy to accept Kylarnartia's challenge. Mr. Kennedy is good, but Kylarnartia is just a powerhouse."[/color]

"Well, let's see if you have the guts..." Kylarnartia is standing in the center of the ring with a microphone. The crowd begins to boo; they're tired of his constant complaining. "Kennedy, I've waited a while for this match, and now you're going to pay for the disrespect you've shown me. You see..."

Mr. Kennedy enters the arena to the biggest pop of the night. Kylarnartia seems shocked to see him on the stage, obviously not expecting him to actually return. Kennedy smiles as he walks to the ring, dressed in his usual ring attire. He high-fives tons of fans and gets tons of cheers as he does so.

[color=red]"Here we go, King! Mr. Kennedy is here and he looks ready to go!"[/color]

[color=blue]"I don't believe! Mr. Kennedy's here and this crowd is going absolutely nuts!"[/color]

Kennedy enters the ring and raises his arm in the air. A microphone lowers from the ceiling. "You know what you are?" Kennedy asks to a huge pop. "You're an annoying, egotistical, mediocore superstar that talks way too d*mn much!" The crowd goes wild as Kennedy stares at Kylarnartia, smiling. "The Destroyer" returns the stare with a look of intensity. Kylarnartia Clothesline Kennedy and the crowd begins to boo. He fires away with Right Hands and the Referee pulls him off. He instructs him to go to the corner and wait for the match to begin. The Referee asks Mr. Kennedy if he wants to compete, and The Loudmouth Superstar says yes. He gets to his feet and the Referee signals for the bell.

Main Event Match: Kylarnartia vs. Mr. Kennedy

Match: Some Right Hands from Kylarnartia and the match gets underway. The crowd boos as Kylarnartia fires away, but they start to cheer as Kennedy rebounds with some Right Hands of his own. Kylarnartia stumbles into the ropes and Kennedy Irish Whips him to the opposite ropes. Kylarnartia rebounds and Kennedy goes for a Back Body Drop, but gets kneed in the face. He goes for a Clothesline, but Kylarnartia connects with a Big Boot, knocking his lights out. Cover..."1! 2!" Kickout!

[color=red]"What a close call! I thought Kylarnartia had him there!"[/color]

[color=blue]"Kennedy's no pushover, Michael! He's gonna give Kylarnartia one heck of a fight!"[/color]

Kylarnartia picks Kennedy up and holds him horizontally across his chest. He throws him over his shoulders and hits a Fallaway Slam. The crowd boos as Kylarnartia taunts in the center of the ring. He goes for a Suplex, but Kennedy counters! [b]SMALL PACKAGE![/b] "1! 2!" Kylarnartia rolls out out it! Kennedy connects with a Flying Shoulder Block! The crowd is excited; they're really getting into the match now! "Kennedy" chants begin to fill the arena as The Loudmouth Superstar climbs to the top rope! He goes for a Kenton Bomb, but Kylarnartia rolls out of the way.

[color=blue]"Great timing by Kylarnartia! If he had stayed one second longer, Kennedy would've had this match won!"[/color]

[color=red]"Both of these superstars are putting up a fight; which one of them is going to win this thing?"[/color]

Kylarnartia lifts Kennedy up and hits a Brainbuster Suplex. He tries a cover, but only gets a two count. After yelling at the Referee, "The Destroyer" picks Kennedy up and tries a Kylar Bomb, but The Loudmouth Superstar hits a Back Body Drop. Kennedy falls to his knees in pain. The crowd begins to cheer, trying to get Kennedy the momentum he needs to get back into the matchup. Kennedy Irish Whips Kylarnartia into the corner. He hits a Corner Clothesline and follows it up with a DDT as Kylarnartia - dazed - walks out of the corner. Hooks the legs! "1! 2! Three--no!" Kylarnartia kicks out!

[color=blue]"This match is getting too close to call, Michael! I don't know which one of these guys is gonna win here!"[/color]

[color=red]"At this point, it's anyone's game! The next big move will likely be the end of this one!"[/color]

Kennedy looks up in desperation; he's tried everything and he can't seem to put Kylarnartia away. Both superstars get to their feet. Kylarnartia goes for a Clothesline, but Kennedy ducks it. Kennedy goes for the Mic Check! Can he get it?! No! It seems that Kylarnartia is too big and Kennedy can't hit the move. The crowd boos as Kylarnartia pushes Kennedy face-first into the turnbuckle. He Clotheslines Kennedy in the back of the head, taking him to the mat. Kylarnartia tries the Kylar Bomb again, but Kennedy rolls forward into a Roll-Up Pin! "1! 2! Three--no!" Another kickout from Kylarnartia!

[color=blue]"Kylarnartia can't put Kennedy away, and Kennedy can't put Kylarnartia away! Is this match ever going to end?!"[/color]

Kylarnartia rolls out of the ring, seemingly furious. He grabs a steel chair and the crowd boos. "The Destroyer" re-enters the ring and the Referee tries to take the chair from him. Kylarnartia prevents the Referee from taking the chair and tries to hit Kennedy with it! This is the end! Wait! Kennedy ducks it! Kylarnartia hits the ropes and the chair bounces off them and hits him right in the face. The crowd goes wild as Kylarnartia falls to one knee. Kennedy grabs him...[b]MIC CHECK![/b] No way! Hooks the legs! "1! 2! 3!"

Winner: Mr. Kennedy

[color=red]"He did it! Mr. Kennedy just pinned Kylarnartia! What a match!"[/color]

[color=blue]"I don't believe it! Kylarnartia hit himself with that chair, and that allowed Mr. Kennedy to hit the Mic Check for the victory! Like you said Michael, what a match!"[/color]

[color=red]"If Kylarnartia felt disrespected before this match, imagine how he feels now!"[/color]

[color=blue]"Well, coming up next, Mr. McMahon has a major announcement to make, and a Former World Champion will make his return to WWE!"[/color]

I have a very important meeting to get to regarding Summerslam and I need to make this short and sweet. So let me explain. I said I had a major announcement to make, and I do. It's come to my attention that Vickie Guerrero has absolutely no idea how to run a show." This comment gets a major pop. The crowd is glad to hear that - basically - Vickie Guerrero is going to be fired. "Twice during the past year I've tried to get Vickie Guerrero fired, but both times that has backfired. Well this time, I'm not going to put Vickie Guerrero's career on the line in a match. This Friday on Smackdown, I'm going to call Vickie Guerrero out to the ring and fire her myself!" Cheers fill the arena and the crowd is extremely excited! "After that, there will be a Fifteen-Man Battle Royal, and the winner of that match will become the new General Manager of Smackdown! I'm not going to let things get out of hand anymore, because..."

"What the h*ll are you doing out here?!" The crowd pops. "You're going to come out here and interrupt me?!" "Santino sucks!" chants fill the arena.

"Look Mr. McMahon I am a sorry, but I had a good a reason to come out here!" Santino smiles.

"You better have a good reason." Vince stares at Santino angrily.

"You see, Kurt Angle told me that if I could defeat John Cena I could join his new group!" The crowd boos. "I was going to call John Cena out myself, but I think he'll just be a coward and refuse to answer my challenge! That being a said, I'd like for you to make the match official right here, right now!" Santino gets major heat as he stands in the center of the ring.

"You came out here and interrupted me to ask me to put you in a match with a man that isn't even medically cleared to compete? How stupid do you think I am?"

"Mr. McMahon I feel that..."

The crowd screams with all their might as John Cena runs out onto the stage, showing off his HLR shirt and hat. He begins yelling at the crowd, firing them up even more. Cena makes his HLR taunt to the crowd, causing them to go wild with excitement. He keeps his eyes locked on Santino as he walks slowly to the ring, still in pain from the car incident. Santino seems shocked.

[color=purple]"My God! It's John Cena! Cena's here now!"[/color]

[color=orange]"I bet Santino's gonna regret what he said moments ago!"[/color]

Mr. McMahon steps out of the ring and leaves through the crowd. Cena slides into the ring and has a stare-down with Santino. He looks toward the crowd before decking Santino with a Right Hand. He fires away with Right Hands before lifting Santino on his shoulders for an F-U. Tons of boos fill the arena as Finlay runs to the ring through the crowd. He slides into the ring and hits Cena in the back with the Shillelagh, causing him to drop Santino. The crowd continues to boo as The Fighting Irishman attacks an already-injured Cena.

[color=purple]"What the h*ll is Finlay doing out here?! Don't tell me he's joined Kurt Angle's group!"[/color]

[color=orange]"It looks that way, J.R.! John Cena needs help out here!"[/color]

Santino begins to attack Cena while Finlay holds his arms behind his back. Boos continue as Cena is helpless.

The crowd goes absolutely, undescribably nuts as Brock Lesnar's music hits. They wait anxiously to see what will happen and sure enough the Former WWE Champion emerges on the ramp. Tons of cheers fill the arena as Finlay and Santino turn their attention toward the TitanTron with looks of complete disbelief on their faces.

[color=purple]"Oh my God! That's Brock Lesnar! Tazz, that's Brock Lesnar! The crowd doesn't believe it! H*ll, I don't believe it!"[/color]

[color=orange]"No way! You gotta be kiddin me! Lesnar must be the Former World Champion Vince McMahon was talkin about!"[/color]

Lesnar runs to the ring and takes out Santino with a Clothesline so powerful that it causes him to flip over backwards. Finlay tries to hit him with the Shillelagh, but he ducks it! [b]F-5![/b] Lesnar helps Cena to his feet and taunts in the middle of the ring to a massive ovation.

[color=purple]"Ladies and gentlemen, we have just witnessed history in the making! Brock Lesnar is back!"[/color]

[color=orange]"J.R. I can't wait for Smackdown this Friday!"[/color]

Oh My God! Lesnar returns! I wonder what this will do to SmackDown. Amazing Raw.

 

You can rest assured that Lesnar will make an impact on the blue brand.
