computerwhiz98 poll: Obama or McCain?

Sparta™

Recommended Posts

In this poll, you vote which is better for America, Obama or McCain. Please give 3 reasons why you are voting for that candidate and 3 reasons why you are not voting for the other candidate.
Me = McCain because
1. He's a patriot.
2. He has no links to terrorists whatsoever and he doesn't change his policies every 4 seconds.
3. He is very experienced.

No friggin way = Obama because
1. He is linked to terrorists.
2. He changes his policies every 5 seconds.
3. He is not experienced and before he ran he was in office for only 9 months.

Before you cast your vote thing or whatever in the poll, watch this video. This video opened my eyes, and I want it to open yours.

I'm voting McCain.

He is a war veteran and a prior POW.

He has great ideas for this country and has selected an excellent running mate.

He stands firm to what he believes and what he plans. He doesn't say to please the population.

I'm not voting Obama because:

He has lied numerous times already, and been caught in them.

He has changed his policies are too often, and does not explain HOW he intends to do what he says he will.

He preaches about change and how the people define that change, however, he does not go into details on whether or not he will make these changes they are asking for, or the changes that are necessary, whether the people ask for them or not. He also does not explain, in detail, how these changes are going to take place and what he is going to have to do to make them happen.

Exactly why I'm voting for McCain, sweet! Also, if you listen closely, Obama never answers the questions they give him in the debates, and Biden (I think) has low and high term (or whatever) memory loss.

I am voting for Barack Obama...

1. He is more experienced than McCain, age taken off the table. Age means nothing.

2. His VP is better than Palin is, much much better. :D

3. He actually cares about the issues at hand, and doesn't sit there like an old man.

I am not voting for John McCrapCain...

1. He cares nothing about us being... 3 trillion dollars in debt.

2. He has made no promises about health care or schooling.

3. Palin is just... I can't even say it. She is just an idiot. No offense.

4. When McCain dies of a heart attack and Palin becomes prez, I move to Mexico.

Finished!

Why not McCain:

1. He is the wishy-washy one in this election, changing his ideas every 5 seconds.

2. Sarah Palin; as if you need any other reason. I'm more qualified to be VP than she is.

3. Capitalist

Why Obama:

1. Socialist; as if you need another reason. Government > Private business

2. Black but not ethnic, he will set a milestone for the readvancement of the Colored man and allow them to assimilate into the "Higher" class of society just because his becoming president will make people more accustomed to such a thing, it won't be pushing the boundary after one man does it.

3. His "Terrorist" associates are Revolutionaries. I hate Hamas more than most, but at this point in American History, it seems that our Civil liberty is skin deep, and all the real freedom and power is owned by corporations. Liberty is precious, so precious that it must be rationed, and we cannot afford giving that liberty to business.

WOAHHHHHHHHHH

Did you just blame Clinton for 9-11?

I pity you. The US government knew that it was going to happen in JUNE, they got the letter, they even declassified it, and yet you don't think it could have been stopped?

Blame the Bush Pigministration for letting citizens die, they're the only ones who benefitted from 9-11 occurring.

1. Linked to terrorists? No way! They're only revoloutionaries as Static stated.

2. Oh who said? McCain does that not him.

3. He could change the world, who knows? If McCain is president he would be killed, then Palin would run USA and it's screwed.

Gotta go for Obama

Obama because:

1. His economic policy is sound as it results in more money for the middle and lower class so as to give them larger opportunities to buy more and repair the economy through their increase amount of purchases.

2. His foreign policy focuses more on talking and solving problems without violence

3. He wants to take the troops out of Iraq. Not suddenly, but at a pace to allow the Iraqi government to assume more and more responsiblity over time.

Not McCain because:

1. His economic policy relies on an imaginary world where the owners of companies will increase wages without being forced to by the government

2. His foreign policy is much too violent and he is too rash in his decisions regarding foreign affairs

3. He wants to stay in Iraq to “win” a war that we won years ago when Saddam was killed. We went in for a pointless reason, and it's done nothing but cost us lives and money.

----------------------------

Need to point out some errors in the pro-McCain stuff

McCain is patriotic, how? Because he was in the military? Lots of Obama supporters were too, are they unpatriotic?

The "terrorists" that Obama was linked to were just anti-Vietnam War guys. The worst part, is that they were doing the stuff they got in trouble for when Obama was a small child. So he couldn't have possibly actually been connected to them. He met Ayers (or however you spell it) through an education funding board, kinda sounds like the terrorist had fallen into the system by then.

He has only very slightly ever changed his policies if at all. Much less than McCain, who I might add changed his spending freeze idea yesterday by finally adding things other than defense to the list of things to not freeze.

Where did this "9 months" thing come from? He's been a senator for almost 4 years.

Obama has never lied a single time.

Obama has always gone into detail about how things will change. He tells exactly how his policies will affect what is currently happening and how it will benefit us.

A reason to vote for McCain is becuase he fought in a war and was captured after 2 months? What does this have to do with anything? Obama couldn't have fought in any wars because he was too young during Vietnam and too old during the first Desert Storm.

Wait, does that actually say we want another Bush? You want to know why we haven't been attacked since 9/11? Because they already have plenty of Americans to kill over there because we invaded.

1. sound like you think Bill Ayers is a hero.

2. He does lie, first, he said he wasn't linked to terrorists. Then they proved it, and he still denied it.

3. He hasn't been a senator for 4 years. Palin i more experienced and she's running for vice president!

4. First, Obama said no, to everything. Now, he says yes to almost everything and he changes his ideas and plans every frigging month!!

5. You want to know why we haven't been attacked by terrorists? Because Bush made the Homeland Security, and we are all safe.

Alright' date=' the truth is out. I could be a better VP than Palin. My DOG could be a better VP than Palin. Palin is a disgrace to mankind, and McCain only chose her to get sexist women votes.

[/quote']

And my crap could be a better president than Obama. The truth is out. You are sexist for insulting everything Americans stand for, equality. Calling her sexist just proves you are.

1. What the hell? I said that the guy wasn't a terrorist but one of those hippie activists and I'm suddenly saying he's a hero? He fell into the system and has become a part of the insitutionalized American society. How could he still be a terrorist?

2. He was on the same board as a hippie. Where is the link?

3. He won the 2004 election for a seat in the Senate and before that served for 7 years as a member of the Illinois Senate. Palin became governer in 2006 and before that was a mayor for 6 years. Obama clearly has more experience.

4. What are you talking about? How about giving some proof before spouting some Fox news lies.

5. We've rarely had terrorist attacks to begin with. Why do you act like we were having attacks every single day before that?

And my crap could be a better president than Obama. The truth is out. You are sexist for insulting everything Americans stand for, equality. Calling her sexist just proves you are.

The truth is out, you're racist. You can't preach equality and then spout nothing but insults about someone else whose winning enforces civil rights. And you can not claim that she is not gaining sexist women's votes, because there are many women who openly speak about how she needs to win because "as a woman she would run the government better". Heck, I even admit that Obama has gained black votes because he's half black, but he's only increased the amount of blacks voting Democrat by 10%.
