This contest will have two rounds only. I will post a picture, and you have to make a card that fits it best.

 

Rules

*entry fee is one point

*winner gets +2 reps

*runner up gets +1 rep

*no spamming, flaming, etc.

*judging

OCG: 5 points

Originality: 3 Points

Name: 2 Points

Stat Balancing: 3 points

Regular Spelling and Grammar: 2 points

If this card is destroyed in Defense Position, place it in your Field Spell Zone. As long as this card remains in your Field Card Zone, monsters with a Level equal to or higher than 5 cannot declare an attack. Downgrade all Dragon-Type monsters' Levels by 1 during the Battle Phase only.

Description: Each time this monster destroys a monster as a result of battle, special summon 1 "Ashes" token (Pyro-Type/FIRE /1 Star/ATK 100/DEF 100) in the same position as the destroyed monster on your Opponent's side of the field. Tribute this Face-Up Attack position monster on your side of the field to inflict a Direct Damage to your opponent's life points for each "Ashes" Token on his side of the field x500.

EFFECT:This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by sending 2 Pyro-Type monsters on your side of the field to the Graveyard. Each time a FIRE or Pyro-Type monster is Summoned, put 1 Phoenix Counter on this card (max. 3). By Tributing this card with 3 Phoenix Counters on it, inflict 1500 Damage to your opponent and destroy 1 card on the field. If this card is Tributed by its own Effect, Special Summon this card from the Graveyard during your next End Phase.

When this card is activated, both players must switch all monsters into face-up Defense Position (Flip Effects are negated). All monsters must be Special Summoned in face-up Defense Position. As long as this card remains on the field, all monsters with a Level higher than or equal to 7 cannot switch Battle Position. Whenever a Level 3 or lower monster is sent to the Graveyard, shuffle it back into it's Deck.

Okay here's my entry

EFFECT: This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by removing 2 Rock-Type monsters in your Graveyard from play. While this card is face-up, all monsters are treated as Rock-Type. Once per turn, you can Tribute 1 Rock-Type monster on your side of the field to return 1 card on your opponent's side of the field to his/her Deck. In addition, if there are more monsters on your opponent's side of the field than your side, this monster can and must attack all monsters on your opponent's side of the field once each with this card.

 

 

And why not raise the prices to

 

1st: 3 reps

2nd: 2 reps

3rd: 1 rep

JUDGES COMMENTS: this was my first contest so it was a bit hard to judge and my ratings system was a bit questionable but I think it worked out. Maxscool101 won because he kept his entries consistent, and like OMGAKITTY had good OCG throughout, and while I was partial to Skuldur's cards some bad OCG and Spelling and Grammar towards the end of his second card were a lethal blow. I was very impressed with michealon24's performance in this contest since he's a new member who managed to hold his own. Thanks to all for participating.
