Higher taxes are actually better for the US at this time.

 

And why do you say that poor people don't give a dang, they went to get a decent life, and for that, Obama helps them by lowering the taxes for them, until they get a decent income and then, they start paying the higher taxes.

 

Lowering the taxes for all people might not be a actual good idea, since the economy of the US is in the damn crisis at the moment.

This is what you get when you have a bunch of teenagers who know little to nothing about the world talk politics.

 

1) The war on terror is a good thing. If we had pulled out long ago' date=' terrorism would be an all time high right now.

2) The stock market didn't plummet because of borrowing money. The stock market plummeted because the american people listen to CNN and the media scews everything to sound HORRIBLE, when really its not. People panicked and started pulling their money.

Then some of the largest corporations were busted because they couldn't afford the loans they were giving and the fed's had to help them out. People panicked again and started hoarding their money. Had people not panicked, none of this would be going on. Even if we are borrowing money, that money goes into building things, which are constructed in the US, so our job market should be doing good, employment should be up, but its not because nobody is spending.

If you spend money, then money is going back into the system, people are paying tax money on things they buy which means more is going into the government. Higher profits for companies means they'll grow and expand which opens up job possibilities for everyone which means more people have more money so they'll spend more money giving businesses more profit and the government more money in taxes which boost the economy and buisnesses are growing. Higher demand means expansion for businesses which opens up more jobs and gives more people money to spend.

 

See how that all works out nicely? Now everyone has money, everyone is spending money, and the economy is booming.

Thing is US really deserves this, if you didn't spend like 700 Billion for the "War against Weapons of Mass Destruction" the whole borrowing wouldn't have been needed. Seriously more then 2 Trillions of the like what 10 Trillions USA borrowed was because it needed to do something to recover the loss of money and man power. Who's to blame? The ugly PREVIOUS president G.W Bush, god it's so good to say it. Obama should end the war as quickly as he can to avoid all the losses that will compile on your heads if it goes on.

 

Also you guys need to tighten up what goes on the Media and cut down on the dumb reality shows >.>

Cody Thunderbolt doesn't know what he's talking about, so I wouldn't get up in a fit about it.

Also, no, money isn't that important, but right now, it sure as h*** helps! Most of us are already living paycheck to paycheck. With higher taxes, some people won't be able to make it, which means more people will be forced into government assistance programs, which isn't good for the economy either.

Yeah, there are a lot of crazy idiots out there in the U.S.

Some just don't give a damn about the presidency, and some do.

 

In fact, I'm actually annoyed becasue of the elections, at my school, almost every "Black" (Not to be racist), kept on saying "Obama!", "Obama!", "Obama!", "Obama!", and more "Obama!". It is getting very annoying. He won, big whoop.

On-topic: I think Obama'll do a good job. He handled the election pretty well. First black president...yeah, probability of attempted assassination is high...=/ I'm British, so I don't know that much, but I try to keep up with current events.
