This card can attack twice during the same Battle Phase. Once, during each Battle Phase, when this card would be destroyed by battle, it is not destroyed. A monster that battles with this card has it's ATK/DEF decreased by 600 points until the End Phase. When this card is destroyed by battle, Special Summon 1 “Giant Red Seasnake” from your Graveyard.

Equip only to a “Seasnake” monster. The equipped monster gains 300 ATK. When the equipped monster would be attacked, you can Tribute this card to Special Summon 1 “Red Seasnake” from your Graveyard and redirect the attack to that card.

The Fusion Material for this card are any 5 “Seasnake” monsters.

This card can attack once more for each “Seasnake” Normal Monster in your Graveyard. When this card destroys a monster by battle, Special Summon 1 “Seasnake” monster from your Graveyard, except “Scylla, Abyssal Seasnake”.

This card is treated as a Normal Monster while face-up on the field or in the Graveyard. While this card is face-up on the field, you can Normal Summon it to have it be treated as an Effect Monster with this effect:

  • When this card attacks, Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower “Seasnake” monster from your Graveyard. This card can attack once more for each “Seasnake Rose” Effect Monster you control.

This card is used to Ritual Summon “Mariana Seasnake” from your hand. You must also Tribute monsters on your field or in your hand whose Levels equal 8 or more.

This card can only be Ritual Summoned by “Abyssal Depths”. You must also Tribute monsters whose levels equal 8 or more from your field or your hand. When this card attacks, change the attack target to face-up attack position (Flip Effects are not activated at this time) and halve it's ATK. By Tributing 1 “Seasnake” monster you control, except this card, place 2 “Seasnake Tokens” (WATER/Aqua-type/Level 2/800 ATK/600 DEF) on your field. “Seasnake Tokens” cannot be Tributed for a Tribute Summon, and are destroyed during the End Phase.

Activate only when your opponent attacks. Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower “Seasnake” monster from your Graveyard and redirect the attack to that card.

 

Deep Blue Sea

Field Spell

All WATER Aqua-type monsters gain 300 ATK. Once per turn, either player can Special Summon 1 Level 2 or lower WATER Aqua-type monster from their Graveyard. If they do, they cannot Normal Summon or Set during the same turn.

 

Duelist Power - Seasnake Embodiment

Spell Card

Activate only while you control a face-up “Seasnake Duelist” and 1 or more “Seasnake” monsters, except “Seasnake Duelist”. Select 1 “Seasnake” monster you control (except “Seasnake Duelist”) and equip it to “Seasnake Duelist” as an Equip Spell Card. Increase the ATK/DEF of the “Seasnake Duelist” by an amount equal to the selected monster's original ATK. The “Seasnake Duelist” gains the effect of the selected monster. If the “Seasnake Duelist” would be attacked, you can Special Summon the selected monster and redirect the attack to that card. You can only activate 1 “Duelist Power” Spell Card per turn.

 

Duelist Power - Seasnake Devastation

Spell Card

Activate only while you control a face-up “Seasnake Duelist”. Discard 1 “Seasnake” monster. Destroy up to 2 cards on the field. You can only activate 1 “Duelist Power” Spell Card per turn.

 

Duelist Power - Wretched Channeling

Spell Card

Activate only while you control a face-up Duelist monster. Destroy all non-Duelist monsters you control, and draw 1 card for each card destroyed. You can only activate 1 “Duelist Power” Spell Card per turn.

Let me bump this with an explanation of a few cards.

 

The set itself is named after the Giant Red Seasnake, one of my favorite monster cards tbh. It served me well in Kaiba: The Revenge, and it will do so now. The set revolves around attack redirection, namely by using Red Seasnakes to summon Roaring Seasnakes.

 

Two cards in this set could use some deeper definition. I'm sure the few readers already have noticed the first of them: the Seasnake Duelist and it's Duelist subtype. But I'll leave you at that for now. If you study the Duelist Powers closer, I'm sure you can find out something more about the Duelists.

 

The second one is the big beatstick of the set, but also a kind of monster rarely seen these days: The Ritual Monster, Mariana Seasnake. Named after the Mariana Trench, the deepest place on Earth, it's sure a monster to be counted on. It's swarming capabilities, used best with March of the Sea Snakes, can put your opponent in a tough spot while giving you Synchro options.
