You all know how to play dodgeball, right?

You just Dodge, Duck, Dip, Dive, and... uh... Dodge.

Well my school recently (twenty minutes ago) held an all-school dodgeball tournament, where each team was just what ever class you have first hour (which is hardly fair).

Not actually part of the story, but I have a friend who takes photography this term. Not only is she the only girl in the class, she is the only student. She has this class first hour. I was quite surprised to find she made it three rounds all by her self.

 

So, anyway, my class managed to win the entire thing, and earn a Turkey-shaped trophy (the bird, not the country. I don't know why I capitolized "Turkey") and free pizza for lunch on Monday because it was for thanksgiving (don't ask me why, I don't pay enough attention to care).

So, internet people, tell me what you think of Dodgeball. Anything.

Dodge ball was banned from my school district because people were cheating. So the superintendent made up this gay game called Wizard. Where it is capture the flag and we have to foam balls and throw it at each other. Trust me it isn't as fun as dodge ball, but it is good for little kids.

same at my old school, because people were throwing it so hard it was getting to the point of breaking people's noses

I know, but no one got broken limbs or anything like that. Only that people were fighting over the balls and aiming at people with glasses.

yeah well I did wear glasses back then, but fortunately back then I reeked at it, so few ever targeted me (they wanted to take out the skilled players on the team first)

The motto for my school bullies are pick on the week or people with glasses. Here is a story a when they started aiming for guys with glasses they picked on a big guy. Big mistake and they all got owned by him and they had to be sent to the nurse.

Fortunately the bullies in my school back then still wanted to win the game, so first priority was the rid the skilled players

Same here.

The friend I talked about on the first post won three rounds by taking out all the athletic guys and girls (she is really freaking athletic) and eliminating the rest at her leisure.

I love dodge ball! It is so cool. I played it alot in elementry school. Now in middle school, the teachers don't let us play it. IT IS SO UNFAIR!!! Anyway, I love dodge ball.

Dodgeball was banned form my area so they renamed it Prison ball and we get to play it again. Truthfully its a fun game to pass time and if you like throwing rubber balls at people:P(I lold whenI typed this)

When Naruto came out, we played dodgeball the following week.

 

I swear fifteen kids were shouting "Shadow Clone Jutsu!" or..."Go shuriken* and then throws the ball. I broke my "pinky" finger. So now I am horribly afraid of Naruto fans, and dodgeball.

Dodgeball did get banned for 9 years (when I was in kindergarten until now) and now we don't even get those awesome red, rubber kick balls to throw at each other. We use foam balls. Man it was not as fun.

How do you cheat at dodgeball? Remote control balls or something?

 

 

Anyway, our school holds a districtwide dodgeball tourny every year. Back in 6th grade my team, Tyrant Cyclones, won. We're hoping to take it again this year even tho we haven't won in awhile.

 

See, in dodgeball, I see no point in dodging. I've usually catch half of the other balls the team throw per game so really, the game should be renamed to 'Catchball'

But luckily, I don't have bullies at my school

I usually stay behind, occasionally coming to front to get a ball & throw it, & usually never hit

Dodge Ball is so much fun. I havent played it in a while but it is so much fun. You can throw blunt objects at people.

 

Here's my philosophy. If you can dodge a firearm, you can dodge a ball.

you know one time we ran out of rubber balls so we simply used tennis balls. That certainly changed the game up a bit
