Im not sure if anyone else thought of this, but there are a number of combos with this card, EG offerings to the Doomed, and Reckless Greed

how it works: as you draw during your opponents draw phase, and vice versa, cards of this nature cause conderable trouble to your opponent

so...it forces both players not being able to ply their cards immediately...makes traps even harder to set up & slows down the game considerably

I would love to have this card. I actually collect cards that make the games different. Where you don't follow the rules. Like Ultimate Offering ignoring the once per turn summon and convulsion of nature putting the deck upside down. I would love to have this card.

well, I just like the fact that this card slows the game down. any card that can hurt the meta is good in my books.

I think this is not the best idea, people will just kill it off after you activate it, since the best time is right after you draw on your turn, so then you draw again on their turn.

oh hell yeh, if this thing was real it'd slow things up chronicaly, make stuff like Jackel lock more effective, and get razia banned for sure (your opponent doesnt even get the spun card back to a usable level for 2 turns, but we'd also see the resurection of appropriate reckless greed, offereings to the doomed and a lot of other interesting cards

I can tell because Eisenstein used this card in such a way to draw a card and make sure Jaden can't do anything.

very true, I'd forgotten who even used this but still, the appropriate combo would be good indeed, I mean loosing to exodia becuse you drew, OUCH, Appropriate Exodia would possibly re-gain a face if this was to come out

hmm,this card can be abused with appropriate and reckless greed,with this on the field it becomes like this:

every time your opponent draws a card,you draw 2 card

draw 2 cards,your opponent does not draw during your draw phase for 2 turns.

 

luckily,DMU includes Anime cards so i might build a deck there.

 

if it were actually released people might actually run them.

It would be extremely annoying if this was activated just before you drew a card, like in the anime.

this card has no combos with "Protector of the Sanctuary",although it probably would have it's effect changed to something like they draw during their end phase,but that kind of ruins the paradox part

Actually, if you were to read the newest errata, it says "Your opponent cannot draw cards except during Draw Phases." The bolded phrases show these 2 ideas:

1. This card only works against your opponent.

2. Protector of the Sanctuary will not stop a draw from Draw Paradox, because the draw is during a "Draw Phase".

 

Thank God "Draw Paradox" doesn't work with "Protector of the Sanctuary," otherwise, if, Draw Paradox were real, there would be another Yata-lock.
