take out the Jutte Fighters and add 3 Rose' date=' Warrior of Revenge

[/quote']Not only is this a blind comment from a sheep in a heard of terrible players, your only logic is "Well, everyone likes her, so why not?". Rose, Warrior of Revenge is good in many decks; The Six Samurai, however, are not such an inviting home for her. With 1600 attack, a useless effect, and being a Warrior, Tune Warrior is far more useful in Six Samurai specifically. And on top of that, Junk Synchron's better than Tune Warrior.

Rose, Warrior of Revenge:

-Can only Synchro into level 7 and 8.

-Can only Synchro with half of his monsters.

Tune Warrior:

-Synchro for level 6, 7, and 8.

-Can Synchro with more monsters, creating a larger opportunity to Synchro Summon.

Junk Warrior:

-Synchro for level 6, 7, and 8.

-Can Synchro with more monsters, creating a larger opportunity to Synchro Summon.

-Can revive Jutte Fighter or Krebons to enable a second Synchro Summon from the summon of only the one monster.

-Combos excellently well with Double-Edged Sword Technique.

I love the Six Samurai.. Shame I only have 2 of them lol anybody know where I could find a full set of SS cards??

That depends. Do you mean just the common Six Samurai? I have a sheet-ton. Hit me up about it on AIM sometime this afternoon or tonight. I'll be online a lot. SaiyanKnight619.

i don't HAVE Hand.i also prefer return' date='because it doesnt cost any Lp,and i get to choose which SS i keep.

also,no Roses.

i prefer kreb because i can use it with a lv4 for lifetrancer,for a beater and a free 1200 LP.though combo'd with D-E.S.T.....

[/quote']

Well, right off the bat you've said something that makes me like you a little more, but also makes me a little pissed. "I don't HAVE Hand." let's me know you DO actually play the TCG, and you play with what you have. I do the same. Apparently a rare breed on YCM. You get points with me for that, and I'll be more polite than I normally would.

However, on the other side of the coin, you also bothered posting a deck and stated that you don't have something as a reason not to change the list to include it. With the most polite tone, of course we would suggest cards you don't use or plausibly own. If you owned them, you'd probably use them. If you want to play in a tournament, you'll have to get used to everything that comes with it, including the environment, the level of seriousness from the best players, and trading.

With that said, go get the cards I suggest, if you don't have them. I won't say anything nuts like Crush Card for a reason; I know how it is to play on a budget. Although I share sympathy, though, I expect some level of commitment from a player that wants to spend money to enter a forum of competition.

Now, taking this into account, let's begin with giving your list a much-needed rewrite. This is what I have to work with right now, to sculpt into something tournament-feasible:

Monsters - 20

2x Great Shogun Shien

3x Grandmaster of the Six Samurai

1x Enishi, Shien's Chancellor

3x The Six Samurai - Zanji

2x The Six Samurai - Irou

1x The Six Samurai - Kamon

1x The Six Samurai - Yaichi

2x Comrade Swordsman of Landstar

2x Jutte Fighter

2x Krebons

1x Exiled Force

Spells - 13

2x Cunning of the Six Samurai

1x Creature Swap

1x Heavy Storm

1x Lightning Vortex

1x Monster Reborn

2x Reinforcement of the Army

2x Six Samurai United

1x Swords of Revealing Light

2x The Warrior Returning Alive

Traps - 7

1x Anti-Spell Fragrance

1x Karma Cut

1x Negate Attack

2x Return of the Six Samurai

1x Sakuretsu Armor

1x Spell Shield Type-8

Extra Deck - 11

1x Colossal Fighter

1x Avenging Knight Parshath

1x Stardust Dragon

1x Psychic Lifetrancer

1x Black Rose Dragon

1x Goyo Guardian

1x Gaia Knight, Force of Earth

1x Magical Android

Now, I would like to make a few key notes. The most important of which is this:

You CANNOT perform a Synchro Summon of Psychic Lifetrancer with Krebons and a Level 4 monster. Psychic Lifetrancer is a Level 7 monster.

Also, I would like to note that Comrade Swordsman of Landstar is not useful here unless you have chosen to play Limit Reverse, which you have not.

Yaichi should be at least in a pair, as he enables safe passage for Shien, Grandmaster, Enishi, and your Synchro monsters.

Irou should be at one, since setting is such a rare occurrence.

Kamon should be side-decked.

Hand should be played over Exiled Force in all instances. I understand you don't own it, but you need to get one. If you have to, leave it in and put "(Will be Hand of the Six Samurai when I get it)" next to it's name.

Let's begin with your monsters.

Monsters - 20

2x Great Shogun Shien

3x Grandmaster of the Six Samurai

1x Enishi, Shien's Chancellor

3x The Six Samurai - Zanji

1x The Six Samurai - Irou

2x Hand of the Six Samurai

2x The Six Samurai - Yaichi

1x Spirit of the Six Samurai

2x Junk Synchron

3x Krebons

+2x Hand of the Six Samurai

+1x The Six Samurai - Yaichi

+1x Spirit of the Six Samurai

+2x Junk Synchron

+1x Krebons

-1x The Six Samurai - Irou

-1x The Six Samurai - Kamon

-1x Exiled Force

-2x Comrade Swordsman of Landstar

-2x Jutte Fighter

I have little to say about these fixes, other than Krebons is only being bumped because of future additions to Spell and Trap configurations. Let's knock out the Spells now.

Spells - 13

1x Brain Control

2x Emergency Teleport

1x Heavy Storm

1x Lightning Vortex

1x Monster Reborn

3x Reinforcement of the Army

2x Six Samurai United

2x The Warrior Returning Alive

+1x Brain Control

+2x Emergency Teleport

+1x Reinforcement of the army

-2x Cunning of the Six Samurai

-1x Creature Swap

-1x Swords of Revealing Light

These are for a couple reasons. Firstly, Swords is just too slow. In a real tournament, stalling for three turns is like looking at Lightsworn or TeleDAD and saying "Please, draw your combo. I'll wait." Cunning is useless without Nisashi and a heavy focus on OTK, and I don't think we'll bother. Creature Swap might have had potential with Shien's Footsoldier, but I don't see it, so we can lose that. Emergency Teleport will give use quick Krebons and allow for Junk Synchron to have a target much sooner. Also, losing Six Samurai quickly gives you the option to enable Double-Edged much sooner and wait for a game-strike while you have Goyo or some such on covering fire. Brain Control is so you can do a Synchro Summon when you summon Junk Synchron into Krebons and only have one other monster. Reinforcement is for aggression and consistency.

Now traps.

Traps - 6

2x Compulsory Evacuation Device

2x Double-Edged Sword Technique

1x Psychic Overload

1x Torrential Tribute

+2x Compulsory Evacuation Device

+2x Double-Edged Sword Technique

+1x Psychic Overload

+1x Torrential Tribute

-1x Anti-Spell Fragrance

-1x Karma Cut

-1x Negate Attack

-2x Return of the Six Samurai

-1x Sakuretsu Armor

-1x Spell Shield Type-8

Firstly, none of the cards you had could really do much of anything against Stardust Dragon except for Karma Cut, which we don't want to have to pay for. Compulsory Evacuation Device does the same job, but gets them off your ass for free. It can stop any Synchro but Thought Ruler, which Karma Cut couldn't hit anyway.

Double-Edged is to give you the power to Synchro more effectively. You called it a cost earlier, so I'm assuming you didn't know, but you only take damage equal to the attack of the monsters that Double-Edged Sword Technique sent back to the Graveyard, not what it brought out. This means that if you brought back Grandmaster and Zanji, then Summon Junk Synchron to get back Krebons, you could Synchro Summon into Stardust and Goyo, and you would take ZERO damage, since they were sent back to the Graveyard before Double-Edged could do it for you.

Another cool trick is to bring back Hand and Yaichi. Yaichi kills a backrow, Hand tributes Yaichi to kill a monster, and you won't take the 1300 from Yaichi. Then you can Synchro and you won't take the 1600 from Hand either.

And the third of the tricks I pass onto you. If you bring back ANY Six Samurai plus Spirit of the Six Samurai, you can equip Spirit onto that monster you brought back and take no damage. Spirit is no longer a monster for Double-Edged to destroy, and it will protect your equipped monster from being destroyed, meaning you take no damage for the monster OR Spirit.

Next, Torrential is there because you WILL eventually want to make use of Black Rose or find yourself with an alternatively-caused blank field, and it's a good cover.

Psychic Overload is to ensure two things. One, that you'll always have a use for Emergency Teleport. Two, that you'll have SOME answer to backrow threats. Say, for example, your opponent plays Heavy Storm with a single Synchro out. You can chain Compulsory and your Overload, and you've effectively gained a +2 on the opponent. You used two, so that's a -2. You drew two, so that's a +2. Your opponent lost two, so that's a +2. -2 + 4 = +2 for you.

Lastly, you'll notice that I took away seven and added six. This is because I wanted room for one more Spirit of the Six Samurai in your monster lineup.

Also, I left your Synchro list alone for now, but I WOULD advise QUICKLY getting another Stardust and a Goyo at least, as well as finding a Red Dragon Archfiend and a Thought Ruler Archfiend.

Asking around YCM to see if I know what I'm talking about is something you could do... But you could also get a pretty good look at a T-Bone by sticking your head up a cow's ass. I'd rather take the butcher's word for it.

Here's your new list. If you don't have the cards, get them. You'll love it when you play it.

thanks a heckload, man.especially for understanding about my conditions.

y'know,i think i have the record for worst conditions to build a deck in.

i was at my dad's friend's house,with half a box of STON.

that is essentially how the first version of my SS deck came about.

also,on to the list.it looks great, and aside from Hands and Teleports,i should be able to.

i also see that i should get more awesome synchros.imma tryin,by the way.

but RDA?i see him only as a beatstick wh forces your other monsters to be beatsticks.

on penalty of death.

what should i sub in for hands and such?soul rope and exiled, maybe.

(yes,i have the overload.in Ultimate)

oh.one other thing.

CREATURE SWAP STAYS.

it won a duel for me in one of the first tourneys i ever went to.DAD <-> nisashi?

good trade.

oh,btw,+1 Rep.

Well, you see, son, here's what's up with Red Dragon Archfiend. His selling point is the less obvious of his traits; the one that you need to think about in terms of a tournament scene: Rogue decks cause problems, and he solves them.

I can't count how many times I would crush a tournament, except for a single loss to some weird deck that came from left field. A lot of the time, this happens around stall cards, slower decks that use heavy sets, or burn. Red Dragon Archfiend clears away the key monsters in most burn decks and heavy-set decks. It's a lot like a giant Irou really, in that he won't be useful a lot, but, when the times comes, you'll be glad you have him.

As far as Hand goes, use Exiled Force for now. And uh... I don't know about Soul Rope. If it can get Level 4 AND LOWER, then maybe? Book of Moon could be a good substitute. It doesn't do the same thing at all, but it stops Stardust Dragon and Dark Armed.

Lastly, I would say to nix Creature Swap. I've won whole TOURNAMENTS on fluke with Petit Dragon, back when I ran Spellcasters for shits and grins in '06. I just threw in what I liked. Doesn't mean that it was a good idea, and it doesn't mean that it was helpful even 1% of the time. I understand that you like Creature Swap, but you really should find something better.

-EDIT-

Oh, and no, I haven't received other +REPs for this. I post long replies in many Six Samurai decks. They were referring to other threads.

Yes, I was aware. I was merely correcting the fact that you said Krebons and a Level 4 monster could be used for it, which they cannot.

Lifetrancer, though I don't like it very much, is quite well suited for this deck in terms of level requirements.

If you don't use MSN or AIM, just send me a private message and we'll discuss the matter of organizing a trade.
