Bloodrun
Eh this is gonaa effect Obama big time if things get really bad. Our country is really racist. True, it will make the people whom didn't vote for him, for relectant to listen to him.Or, it will give him the push he needs to prove he's worthy. ragnarok1945
I wouldn't be surprised. Bush got all the blame for screwing up the economy, Obama is going to get all the blame for trying to fix it, but it doesn't turn out the way he wanted it to and the situation got worse

Guest
Oh good grief... >_> This has nothing to do with racism and everything to do with that all politicians are greedy, power-hungry SoBs. If McCain had won the election, and a Republican official was arrested like the IL guy, McCain would be caught up in it just like Obama is now. People are too quick to throw the racism card when in reality it's just Standard Operating Procedure for politicians.
ragnarok1945
well what did you expect? Obama made history by becoming the 1st African American president, so obviously we'd expect an attempt to be made to continue the traditional ethnicity

Guest
I meant something similar in magnitudeYou bet there were people against Bush who were trying to start things to either discredit him or get him removed completely. That's the nature of politics. A sinister, back-stabbing nature, but still a nature.
ragnarok1945
well now we can see we should have supported them from the start. I hope Obama won't do something similar. There is also a nature of politics to promise everything yet do absolutely nothing
