Nuclear Wars

i read this article a while ago and found this quite interesting

it tells how to survive one but the question is,will there ever be one ever again?

they are perhaps one of the most deadliest weapons on Earth(don't throw Chuck Norris in this conversation)

so after you read that article you might come up with different responses like "heh, those guys wasted their time,it won't happen again" or "Interesting,i should print a copy out in case i really do need it."

sorry if this is in the wrong section.discuss about nuclear warfare >.>

would it be one of the biggest mistakes that humans made?

would it protect or destroy our planet?

is there a way Earth can be ended with it?

Blame the USA for creating them.

Maybe a terrorist group may make one & start a new world war too. How many countries already made those things by now?

How right you are. When we first created it in 1945, the scientist didn't even have the slightest clue how radiation worked. They expected an instant death, not this sick radiation poisoning and decaying.

Not to mention the fact they expected that it will take at least another 20 years before another nation could even begin the process for a nuclear weapon, and the USSR did it in 4

i also used to think that Nuclear Bombs kill everything within the fire range(which they do) and the radiation will instantly wipe-out anyone who breaths a small amount of it but the article shows that it's quite easy to survive it with the proper information.

i felt like i knew a lot more than other people just by reading the whole article.

I wonder which nation would...North Korea already did

Sometimes you wonder if the government is ever going to start realizing it's their own genius of invention that's put us here' date=' instead of going by the saying of "if we don't create these terrible weapons some other nation will and they will use it against us"

[/quote']

well, people always want to discover things but sometimes, things are just best left unknown, sooner this type of weaponry will get in the wrong hands and cause mass destruction,i don't have enough paper to print it out but the instant i hear something about an upcoming nuclear war i am defiantly going to print this out and read it a couple of times and maybe even make hand-out packets >.>

although people might just walk by and say "Why is that crazy kid talking about nuclear wars and handing out a survival guide" but they will find out sooner....

EDIT:

Solution to Nuclear Winter: Build a 10 storey highly-fortified ark that would protect people from 100 years of nuclear winter.

Overall: You become a cult member' date=' dumbass

[/quote']

reading the article will educate you

translation:in the article it states that shelters can only last for about 3 days(i kinda forgot) before you have to find one so 100 year protections can't be possible.

the point is' date=' new inventions are always being developed. Obviously you can't keep it from falling into another's hands indefinately

they are always being developed indeed, people make deadly weapons for the means of protection but at the same time they are weapons of destruction.

now if there was such a thing as world peace....

There is. The people wouldn't be stupid enough to kill the world. If they were, good for them. Let's start all the way back from the Homo Sapiens.

You can't achieve world peace without killing everyone else in the world

i actually consider humans to be more stupid than most other animals(including myself in certain conditions)

i mean,humans kill each other,while most animals don't

perhaps the main downside about having advance intelligence is that we have hate and know how to fight back.

i would like you to name the last time you saw 2 SAME SPECIES of wild animals kill each other.

now if we are dumber like the times of the first humans,we still kill each other >.>

now if we had knowledge of animals,on the other hand, then world peace can be made more easily

now we are just getting trailed off from nuclear wars by world peace stuff >.>

Yah I agree here.

Most animals can blame instinct when it comes to killing others. However, humans have more willpower & yet we choose to kill other people...not for food, just for the sake of killing. We are the monsters sir.

Nuclear war interesting... but unlikely with the US separating its self from the Anti-Ballistic Missile Treaty and the development of a shield that can stop all Nuclear war. but like that will ever happen. i think that the EU will throw the first stone, and then its over, or we blow up the whole world with an pound of Anti-matter...

We always believe we are always right no matter what the case is. That is the major flaw with us: we just can't seem to swallow the pride to even consider that we are not as good as we all claim to be

Examples of Animals that kill each other off the top of my head.

Lions: A new Alpha will kill children of previous Alpha. (Happens in some other species)

Monkeys: Some types of Monkey have been shown to kill each other.

In hardship some animals will kill their own young to survive as well as possibly during the mating season. (Like when accidentally slips by one of the competitors can mean death)

Do agree on the point other animals are smarter than us.

Just what we all need more places where people will be born with deformities, contract certain illnesses that are not as common else where like cancers (Of course other places were they're (Cancers) more common is near the mouth of China's Yellow River), and yet more places we cannot grow crops or eat the food that grows for x number of years because it'll kill us slowly.

Deadliest weapon on Earth, human stupidity. I don't get why we have to use things when we didn't at first know what the hell it would do as side effects (other than death), but I guess humans' stupidity (in needing to war over everything possible) leads us to very bad situations.

It's what you call Thinktelligence, Cinder. Basically it's when we think very narrowly, which we insist it's being very focused. But all we see is the profit side of it, not the consequence side of it (or even if we do, we feel the consequence side is so small it can be ignored alltogether).

I'll just use the Jurassic Park movie as the point (even though we all know what we saw in there is complete nonsense and can NEVER be achieved): basically when we invent things at first, we marvel at our invention, yet barely learn anything about it. However, because we created it, we expect it to do everything we tell it to.
