Dark
"You can stab my heart, break my bones, tear my muscles and rip me apart. But you can never take away my knowledge." This replaces the other one that I had in my signature. But this time, I know what this quote means. Any comments on it? I think I have heard something just like this before, sticks and stones may break my bones. Anyways, I said this after I had to break up with my GF. I ain't really sad, per se. Prince Poison
That's not deep, that's............stupid.I mean, stab my heart rip me apart but you never take away my knowledge? These kind of quotes usually have a second meaning, I just can't see it coming from this one. CrabHelmet
This quote is pretentious nonsense, so let's talk about a better quote: "The mark of an immature man is to wish to die nobly for a cause. The mark of a mature man is to wish to live humbly for a cause. The mark of a stupid man is to be the ruler of one of the world's most powerful nations and to still need to dodge shoes thrown for a cause." IT IS DEEP

CrabHelmet
I have another deep quote too. "You have a vacant look in your eyes that clearly says 'Hold my head to thine ear, and ye shall hear the sea'." IT IS DEEP BECAUSE I USED YE OLDE WORDES INNE ITTE
Willieh
It sounds more like you tried really hard to make a deep quote but it turned out less than it's own magnitude intended. Yogi Berra comes up with deeper quotes;"How does it profit a man to have gained the whole world and lost his soul?"
