Here we are on summer, and the long hair becomes very uncomfortable. Then, you use ponytail or cut your hair.

i have to wear my hair up at work. but casually i wear my hair down if its straightened, if its not then i sometimes wear it up to get it out of the way... like right now =3

I have longish hair, and for marching band, I usually have to put my hair up in a ponytail. It's a little uncomfortable, but meh. And to answer the question, no, I don't think guys who put their hair up in ponytails are gay.
