「tea.leaf」
Actually, I'm not complaining, because I love winter and the white scenery. A snow storm blew in a few days ago and now everything is covered. We've gotten more than twelve inches by now. At this rate, the storm is probably going to keep up until at least Christmas. This sort of weather is odd around here, because it's not supposed to drop far below the 40ºF's during the winter; the snow has never been an issue before... This city only has ninety-something plows. So far the district has canceled three days, and by the looks of things, Monday and Tuesday might be off too. This is so awesome; it's a week-long extension to my winter break, but we're probably going to make it up. Snow stories: share yours.

Akira
Well, my younger brother was kinda irritated. He was supposed to play in an under 13s football tournament last Sunday, but the match was called off due to the snow =/ Can't argue that it truly is beautiful, though. Larxene
Last February, we had a foot of snow. Plus there was a layer of ice somewhere in the middle of it because it had snowed, then rained, then the rain froze, and then it snowed again. All the cars and trees were frozen solid. ragnarok1945
I want a blizzard now!We have almost 40º C sometimes for now.Of course' date=' here is summer.[/quote'] hey, when it's summer here it'll reach up to 40 degrees C as well. Then it feels like you're ready to melt. That is what you call crappy weather
-Berserker-
Exactly. And sometimes a cloud appears around here and the air becomes wet and your sweat cannot evaporate and you start to melt.
ragnarok1945
seriously, when we reach that summer the rainclouds mean nothing. The raindrops will have evaporated LONG before it hits the ground
-Berserker-
Yes, that's the matter, a rain can chill the things a bit, but if we have clouds only, and no rain, it doesn't low the temperature, and the air is not dry enough to evaporate the sweat. ragnarok1945
though for the times we do get rain, it rains pretty hard. I remember one time my friend and I were buying some blank CDs for music burning which he put in his backpack. We had to walk for like 15 min in heavy rain to get to his car. When we got back to his house all his CDs were ruined because the rain went through his backpack, through the cases and into the CDs themselves
