Are moto is In God we Trust. I can understand that people don't celebrate christianty, but still, I prefer merry christmas, after all, that is why America was founded mainly
Cyber Altair
How thick can you get, Christmas isn't the only holiday at this time and it would be a dick move from TV Stations to only advertise Christmas and forget all the other holidays therefore insulting religion. Bakura Vessal
Some people don't like the Christ in Christmas. (Even though that is what Christmas is really about.) The TV stations say' date=' "Happy Holiday" to cover their asses from any court summonses. I prefer, "Merry Christmas" myself. Soon people will be rewriting Christmas carols to please [i']everybody[/i].Actually some people just celebrate Christmas not for the birth of Christ, but for the sake of free presents. I know. It's kind of sad. I am one of them. I am a athiest, who lieks getting mai prezzies.

Jericho
I think that "Happy holidays" is actually pretty dumb. More then 95% of the US celebrates christmas' date=' and not all of that 95% is christian.[/quote'] So you're saying the other 5% deserve to be offended, just because they happen to be the minority? CrabHelmet
Can someone explain why people who don't celebrate [Holiday X] should be offended when people say "Happy/Merry/Joyful/Fabulous [Holiday X]!" to me? There seems to be an inherent assumption in this DO DEM OTHA FIVE PUZZENT DUZURV 2 B OFFENDED nonsense that anyone who doesn't celebrate a holiday will be offended by the mere mention of that holiday. SushiTheLegend
My post doesn't belong to you, XD. Anyway who gives a crap about these assumptions is stupid. I'm athiest but I don't think Christmas is for presents it is for being happy with your family and friends, at least it should be for non-christians.
