~ P O L A R I S ~
The only reason for it to drop in value over the coming month would be its Super Rare status in the new-ishly released Dark Legends packs, this is a fairly significant reason, but I doubt it will hurt the value of Malicious that much. GenzoTheHarpist
It has taken a slight dip (as all cards do) since it has been reprinted.
CrabHelmet
If we get an emergency banlist, Tele-DAD could get weaker, which would drop its value. However, we probably won't get an emergency banlist this format. And that's terrible.
GenzoTheHarpist
There are decks besides teledad that use Malicious such as Tricky Turbo.
CrabHelmet
There are decks besides teledad that use Malicious such as Tricky Turbo. I fail to see how that stops Malicious's value from going down if and when Tele-DAD becomes weaker.
GenzoTheHarpist
Because people will still pay extravagant amounts to use it in non-teledad decks.
CrabHelmet
Because people will still pay extravagant amounts to use it in non-teledad decks. There is a difference between "worth less" and "worthless".
GenzoTheHarpist
I'm saying that the price won't go down at all because other quick-synchro decks will become more popular and pick up the loss in buying.

Guest Chaos Pudding
I think the TC is referring to the reprint of Malicious in Dark Legends. And, to answer your question, I don't see it dropping that much.

Nah. Other decks will pick up the slack. For instance Tricky turbo is unpopular, but if teledad is no longer a viable option, the people playing this variant will vastly increase and will spend the same extravagant amounts the teledad players were paying. The cost of Malicious is equal to what people are willing to pay for it, nothing more.

Megaworm
Or just ban Tele-DAD themed decks altogether. If the card is too close to the meta-raping decks then it cannot be allowed into the tournament.
GenzoTheHarpist
What cards exactly would you ban to do that?
Megaworm
Well, you can't use Dark Armed Dragon and Emergency Teleport, Destiny Hero Malicious, Dark Grepher, Plaguespreader Zombie, Crush Card Virus, Deck Devastation Virus, Eradicator Epidemic Virus, or/and Destiny Draw in the same deck. An innacurate attempt at a loop/strategy/deckbuild ban. People could still use dark armed dragon, they just can't rape and ruin the meta with the same deck over and over again.
