WIND Monster Contest - I'm Judging now, so no more entries! ^_^

WIND seems to have been somewhat neglected by Konami compared to the others, but I'm sure the same can't be said for YCM. Show me your best WIND monsters and I'll give it heck with my evil judging scheme, which is as follows:

 

Roobrik of EVIL!

 

Official Card Grammar: 20% (Whether or not it is errata'd like the latest cards of your card's effect.)

Name: 5% (Coolness of name.)

Picture: 15% (Coolness of picture and its sync with the name.)

Balance: 20% (How overpowered or underpowered it is.)

Effect Quality: 20% (Shows thought put into it, is fairly long.)

Originality: 10% (Its unique-ness)

Little things: 10% (Good Set ID, no circulation.)

 

The 3 cards that receive the least battering from this judging scheme win prizes, shown below.

1. You don't have to give image credit, but you need a disclaimer, unless it's your art. I will not add your card if you don't have a disclaimer, and you'll have to add one to get into the contest.

 

2. You can only make 1 card.

 

3. No flaming (making hostile posts to other members.)

 

4. You may reserve your entry, just remember to post your card before the deadline.

 

5. Cards cannot be Normal Monsters, Spell Cards, or Trap Cards. They must have an Effect. They can be either Synchro Monsters, Fusion Monsters, Ritual Monsters, or Effect Monsters but they must have an effect. If you make a monster with no effect, you'll lose all your Official Card Grammar and Effect marks. So yeah, if you want to win, have an effect.

 

6. Cards must have the WIND Attribute. Y'know, the little Green symbol in the top right corner. Stardust Dragon has one.

 

7. You must have your card in by January 3rd, 2009. I will start judging on the 3rd, thew way I judge it could take a while so be patient. ^_^

Effect: If this card is Special Summoned by the effect of another "Elemental Crystal Spirit" or "Crystal Beast" card, this card can attack your opponent directly the turn it was Summoned. This card can attack twice during the same Battle Phase. During the Battle Phase, if your opponent activates any Trap or Spell Cards that affects any card with "Elemental Crystal Spirit" in your Spell & Trap Card Zone, double this card's ATK during the Battle Phase only. If you attack during the Battle Phase this effect is activated, destroy this card. If this card is destroyed you can place it face-up in your Spell & Trap Card Zone as a Continuous Spell Card instead of sending it to the Graveyard.

Select 1 WIND monster in your Graveyard and place it on the top of your Deck. You can only activate this effect once. As long as this card remains face up on the field you must draw cards from the bottom of your Deck during your Draw Phase. All cards drawn by this card's effect are show to your opponent. If a Level 4 or lower WIND Monster is drawn this way, you can pay 500 Life Points to Special Summon that monster. Any monster Special Summoned by this card's effect is destroyed during your next Standby Phase.

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by removing from play 1 Level 5 or higher WIND monster from your side of the field. When this card is sent to the Graveyard as a result of battle, you can send 1 Winged-Beast-Type monster on your side of the field to the Graveyard to Special Summon this monster in face-up Defense Position. When there is a WATER and EARTH monster on your side of the field, this cannot be the target of Trap cards. When this card destroys a monster as a result of battle, place 1 Level 4 or lower WIND monster from your Graveyard on the bottom of your Deck.

When this card attacks, it is changed to Defense Position at the end of your turn. During your opponent's Standby Phase while this card is in Attack Position, you can send this card to your Graveyard to inflict 500 damage to your opponent. During your opponent's Battle Phase, if this card was sent to the Graveyard during your opponent's turn, Special Summon it to your field in Attack Position.

[spoiler= Effect:]When this card is Normal Summoned or Special Summoned return all Spell and Trap Cards on the field to their owner's hand. Once per turn you can remove from play 1 card in your Graveyard to return 1 card on the field to its owner's hand. After this effect resolves select 1 Monster Card in your hand. If the selected card's ATK is higher then the ATK of the card returned to its owner's hand (a Spell or Trap Card's ATK is treated as 0) the returned card is shuffled into it's owner's Deck. If this card would be destroyed and sent to the Graveyard by battle you can return this card to your hand to negate the attack and draw 1 card from your Deck. If you activate this effect skip your next Battle Phase. When this card is destroyed by a card effect you can remove this card from play to return 1 of your other removed from play card(s) to your hand.

Once per turn, increase this cards ATK by 800 for each face-up WIND monster on the field, until the end of this turn. This card can attack all monsters your opponent controls once each. When this card is destroyed, add 1 Level 3 or higher WIND monster from your Graveyard to your hand.

Well, after having just been raped by your ROOBRIK OF DOOM a couple of minutes ago, and realizing that you are the one hosting this...

Made a few adjustments.

This card cannot be targeted for attack while it is in Defense Position. This card cannot be targeted for attack by EARTH monsters. When battling a WIND monster, this card gains 1000 ATK until the end of the Damage Step. While this card is in Attack Position, downgrade the Level of all Winged Beast-Type monsters by 1. Increase the ATK and DEF of all Winged Beast-Type monsters by the total number of Set Spell or Trap Cards on the field x100.

This card cannot be the target of an attack as long as there is a WIND Dragon-Type monster on the field. When a WIND Dragon-Type monster is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, you may pay 1000 Life Points to Special Summon it to the owners' side of the field at his/her End Phase. Control of this card cannot switch. If there is a Fiend-Type monster on your side of the field, this card is immediately sent from the field to the Graveyard.

 

I wanted the effect to be long, but not too long. And of course the image isn't mine.[/align]

This card gains ATK equal to the equipped card's ATK. This card gains 100 ATK for each Warrior-Type monster in your Graveyard. You can remove from play 1 Warrior-Type monster from your hand to negate the effect of a Spell or Trap Card and destroy it. While this card is face-up on the field, negate all the effect of face-up Effect Monsters on the field, except this card.
