Considering that the good guys were running everything and the Sith were incredibly weak' date=' you'd have thought that [i']somebody[/i] would have pointed out that balancing the force would be a bad thing, since it would mean giving more power to the Dark Side.

Yeah, but the Jedi have some holy perpous to bring world peace, and they think balancing the force will do that.

Peace results from one side winning - the most unbalanced situation possible. Perfect balance would result in perpetual struggle.

There the Jedi, they are only taught to do one thing, bring balance to the force, I wouldn't be suprised, if they are told not to ask questions.

Brilliant, we have an entire order of holy knights who deliberately train themselves to carry Idiot Balls around perpetually.

Thats how cults work, the Jedi no different.

In some ways the Sith is more intellegent.

They are taught to be the ulterment power, whist Jedi are taught to help others before their self, and bring balence and all that crap.

Here's something else that makes no sense: Why should the Sith, which are supposed to be evil and selfish, get the ability to revive other people, while the Jedi, who are supposed to be good and selfless, just get really strong and contemplate their navels? Shouldn't the selfless ones be saving people from death, and the selfish ones be maximizing their own personal strength?

Think of the Jedi, like christians.

According to them, bring people to life is evil, having lightning destruction powers are evil, chokeing people with power is evil, etc.

So yeah.

Refusing to help others out of a warped standard of personal honor is about as selfish as you can get.

Jedi are evil

Yup.

Explanation:

During Jedi Civil War, JEdi set Trap for Darth Revan, current Dark Lord of the Sith, and Darth Malak, his apprentice. The Jedi strike team went aboard Revan's ship and confronted him, but Malak fired on his Master's ship, critically wounding Revan. Only a small spark of life was left in Revan, which was perserved by the Jedi. Thet planted a FAKE Identity into Revan's head, and tricked him into helping the Jedi find the Star Forge, which was a huge factory that provided Revan, and later Malak's troops. So they tricked Revan and used himas a pawn, when they say that everyone deserves a second chance.
