Their written form, however, was based off of China's.2. Japan might have had longer relations with US, but China's had longer relations with English speaking countries. A lot of people begin learning Japanese that way ...that doesn't make any sense. Hearing people shout "GIGA DORIRU BREAKA" doesn't tell anyone any Japanese at all. It's not like the Japanese words for Giga' date=' Drill, and Breaker (or Break) are GIGA, DORIRU, and BREAKA; it's just gratuitous English being spoken by a Japanese voice actor.
