I learnt spanish in just 1 year, and i was a baby. im still learning english, but some people don't notice it when i write. If i can master the english, i would be able to learn german more easily, but for now, i can only understand a bit of portuguese, french, italian, and 1 or 2 words of latin and greek, because all those languages are related to spanish. Learning japanese would be a total new experience.

Conclusion: Learning languages isn't paying of. There should be a language that is easy to learn for everyone in the whole world' date=' because it contains elements from all languages.

Hey what'd ya know? It has already been invented, but it died twenty-three seconds later.

Easy is just a POV. What is easy for one person doesn't have to be for another

Most countries now require English as a second language. America is just too arrogant to have required language learning.

Yeah well even that is starting to change (otherwise basic education would not have required a 2nd language)

What? Language isn't required to graduate high school. Unless you're talking about those mandatory Spanish lessons in Elementary. Those don't count.

well maybe things have changed since then' date=' but at any rate the point is you can't go through elementary, middle, and high school without learning a single foreign language (whether it counts from your POV or not is another matter)

[/quote']

Yes you can, quite easily. It's not a requirement to graduate, and I know plenty of people who don't bother with it.

Let me say that one more time, since you didn't catch it the first two times I said it either...

language classes are electives. You don't have to take them to graduate.

KOREAN FTW!

Japanese speech is devrived form Koreans which are from China

Anyohasayo > Konichiwa

anyday

Huh. I didn't know that one.

I knew that the Japanese written language is based of off Chinese (coughSTOLENcough)

Does Japan have any OC? :P

more like stolen then modified to make it more unique and different. Isn't that how other languages around the world worked?

I barely count written Japanese as different. The Kanji remains more or less identical. But you have a point, so meh. I concede it.

well that's the if you try comparing English and Spanish, since both were derived from Latin, if so you can technically say our language isn't really real, it was just siphoned from another

does it get disorienting at times then?

Nup. Because they're all connected somehow...

German Languages: English' date=' Dutch, German

Anglosaxon: English

Roman: French, Spanish

All Indo-European Languages overlap a bit.

when I was learning spanish for the first time there were plenty of students in my class who feels it's just a cheap version of english and should never have existed in the first place

El inglés es una versión barata del español y jamas debió existir.

If you know some languages you'll be able to understand new ones easier' date=' if they are connected in the roots. As an example i can understand some parts of Rammstein lyrics.

Deutsch ist ja super einfach für die Leute die Niederländisch sprechen.
