YCM's Good Deed Rep of the Day Draw

~ P O L A R I S ~

Recommended Posts

I've decided to start a little something called the YCM Rep of the Day Draw to promote good deeds on the forum. Here's how it works:

Members will post something notable or kind that they've done. (Must've been done in the same day as post of it.)

Members will also have to nominate another member to be put in to the draw from now on, the nominated member will also be put in, you can only nominate 1 member per day.

Once I've confirmed you have indeed done it and that it is in fact a good deed, your name will be entered into a draw. The day after, the draw will be done for the previous day. All the names from the draw will go on the List Randomizer on Random.org. The first name to come up gets a free positive reputation point.

So step right up, one and all! =D

I think this is just another way for people to show their real colors.

I think it's commendable that you would want to give a commemoritive rep to someone everyday, but why let them post what they, themselves have done. It should be other people nominating them. By letting people post only what deeds they, themselves, had done, it'll only prove that they are not doing a good deed right now. I say let other people nominate a different person instead of being allowed to nominate themselves. It should teach members how to be more selfless.
