Marly
Old card. http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Timeater1900 ATK for a Level 6 isn't exactly good, but does it's effect makes up for it? Discuss.

~ P O L A R I S ~
No., not really, because they still get a MP 2 and its effect probably won't be too easy to pull off in the first place.
Chevalier
No, it's still bad.
Umbra
No.' date=' not really, because they still get a MP 2 and its effect probably won't be too easy to pull off in the first place.[/quote'] No, they won't. MP2 is after the Battle Phase, which is declared and entered in MP1.
~ P O L A R I S ~
You still get a Battle Phase if your MP1's skipped. You don't need an MP1 for a Battle Phase, you can go from Draw to Standby to Battle to MP2.
Umbra
http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Battle_Phase A Battle Phase can be conducted every turn except the first turn of the Duel, after the Turn Player's Main Phase 1.
Marly
From Yugioh-card.com: " TIMEATERIf your Main Phase 1 is skipped because of "Timeater", you can enter your Battle Phase (even if you have no monsters on the field) and proceed from there to Main Phase 2. If you cannot enter your Battle Phase (due to another card effect such as "Great Long Nose" or "Frozen Soul"), then you must go immediately from Standby Phase to End Phase." Anyway, What about this card in Plant Token manipulation? Just use this card to destroy your tokens and sort of lock him/her?

GenzoTheHarpist
Wasting deckspace on a card that at most mildly inconveniences your opponent is not the path to success.

CrabHelmet
The World does Timeater's job much more effectively. The World takes two tributes or a Special Summon, followed by a coin flip, followed by another two tributes. This just takes one tribute or a Special Summon. They don't exactly do the same job at all. One is a win condition; the other is an inconvenience.
Tabris
Timeater. + gapes at Battle Phase ruling + How ironic.
SephirothKirby
I don't understand how someone could make a mistake like that. The Battle Phase is as connected to the Main Phase 1 as the Standby Phase is connected to the Draw Phase. They happen in a set order, but you don't need one to enter the other. However, this is irrelevant to this card, because of the ruling. Please read the Bold and previous post. Wikia is Wrong. You choose to Enter Battle phase after you END the Main Phase (Or by TimeEater, after your Standby Ends.), not during the ANYTHING. People may ask, "Well whats the difference", Ill explain. At the END of the Battle Phase your allowed to tag Attacked Glad Beast. That means it isn't completely over, that means Chains can be started. Starting your Battle Phase Starts no chain, It just happens if you choose to. People say "I Chain my Threatening Roar to your battle phase." That is incorrect, and IMO, they seem stupid. What they should be saying is, "Before the deceleration of an attack, I activate..."
Umbra
You yourself just proved your argument wrong. "You choose to Enter Battle phase after you END the Main Phase" But since you never enter the Main Phase, you cannot end it. This is pointless to squabble about anyway, since the ruling is in effect. "You choose to Enter Battle phase after you END the Main Phase" But since you never enter the Main Phase' date=' you cannot end it. You choose to Enter Battle phase after you END the Main Phase (Or by TimeEater' date=' after your Standby Ends.), not during the ANYTHING.[/quote'] The Wikia Says... At the conclusion of Main Phase 1' date=' the Turn Player may choose to enter the Battle Phase.[/quote'] The "Conclusion" Implies that it is still apart of the Main Phase 1. It should say "After Main Phase 1 has ended." This would cause alot less confusion from more players of your Like. As it is written, it is wrong, but don't worry, Ill fix the wikia in a second, because Gawd forbid the people who actually Post on wikia Picks up a copy of the rule book once in a while.
