Card Idea, need help with OCG

So I am guessing this probably isn't an original idea but I was trying to think of a way to make really weak cards be useful. My first thought was reverse how damage calculations are done and basically came up with "golf" rules. I am having trouble however trying to phrase the card's effect correctly.

 

I want it to be able to cover any battle scenario.

 

ATK vs ATK = greater ATK monster destroyed, player with greater ATK monster takes battle damage.

ATK > DEF = difference between ATK and DEF is subtracted from ATK player

ATK < DEF = destroy DEF monster

When a player declares an attack on a Defense Position monster, activate 1 of the following effects:

-If the Defense Position monster's DEF is greater than the attacking monster's ATK, destroy the defending monster.
