Silent Detective
Let them make the Chronicles of Narnia as a great movie series. The books were interesting too. I hated the books. The movie was boring, both of them in fact. The second one was long. I think Maximum Ride would make a great movie.
Felix Culpa
Maximum Ride. Finally, someone agrees!
Shrekstasy
Maximum Ride. The stupid movie people would most likely ruin it, like Eragon.
Silent Detective
I liked Eragon but then again I read the book after. I heard there suppose to make a movie, for Maximum Ride anyway.....
Willieh
I honestly think that all movies based on books kind of suck. The only exception would be if they made a movie out of "The catcher in the Rye" which they haven't and never will. :(
Arekku_Koro
Wait' date=' how about a Movie with Percy Jackson and the Olympians?Wait... that would kinda ruin it then.[/quote'] They have already announced a movie. And my book, Noise, would make an awesome movie, just hire some really low-self esteem actors.

Felix Culpa
Hasn't anyone heard of the Cirque Du Freak books by Darren Shan? C'mon, everyone in my school reads them. There is even a waiting list in my library FOR THE FIRST BOOK. It has like thirteen people on it. NO ONE?

RiffMaster Alex
The Pendragon series sucks ass. They really better not make them into movies. Twilight had a good movie.
Felix Culpa
This is impossible. Pendragon isn't that bad Alex. Twilight was an okay movie but most of the scenes were out of place, like when Edward and Bella were sitting in a field it snowed. And when Edward finds that Bella knows it is in a car on the way to dinner, not in the forest. It was okay. Just misalignedFinally, knowledge.... "Cirque Du Freak" tells the frightening tale of a boy who unknowingly breaks a 200-year-old truce between two warring factions of vampires. Pulled into a fantastic life of misunderstood sideshow freaks and grotesque creatures of the night' date=' one teen will vanish from the safety of a boring existence and fulfill his destiny in a place drawn from nightmares. 14-year-old Darren (Chris Kelly) was like most kids in his suburban neighborhood. He hung out with his best friend, got decent grades and usually stayed out of trouble. But when he and his buddy stumble upon a traveling freak show, things begin to change inside Darren. That's the exact moment when a vampire named Larten Crepsley (John C. Reilly) turns him into something, well, bloodthirsty. Newly undead, he joins the Cirque Du Freak, a touring sideshow filled with monstrous creatures from a snakeboy and a wolfman to a bearded lady (Salma Hayek) and a gigantic barker (Ken Watanabe). As Darren flexes his newfound powers in this dark world, he becomes a treasured pawn between the vampires and their deadlier counterparts. And while trying to survive, one boy will struggle to keep their brewing war from devouring what's left of his humanity.[/quote']
OMGAKITTY
Pendragon freaking rapes. But I don't think there's ever been a movie who's been able to completely carry off remaking a book. And I don't think there ever will be.Book>Movie. Larxene
Cirque Du Freak needs a movie series. [/topic] As long as they don't make it suck. The first movie is currently being filmed if I'm correct. I think it covers the first 3 books.
problematica
I really wish they would do a movie series over The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series. There used to be a show, but I think some movies might turn out better. And they'd really have to redo the movie that was already made because, even though the author worked on it partly, you can actually tell exactly what he worked on before he died since those were the only parts actually faithful to the series at all. Also, more Dune movies ftw!
-Berserker-
I want to see movies of The Lord of The Rings... Oh! wait... Forget that. Paulo Coelho's books are really good. Maybe a movie or two will do it well (All you read "The Alchemist") I want more movies of Jack Skellington.

Umbra
OMGAKITTY: Låt den rätte komma in would like to have a word with you. Not that anyone here have read the book, but still. It's the best vampire novel I've ever read, and it's not even a vampire novel!
