RikotheFoxKid Posted September 13, 2007 Report Share Posted September 13, 2007 I've tried two fanfics before, and they weren't exactly the best thing ever. so i decided to try again by starting with a basic: a tournament consisting of 8 Yu-Gi-Oh!/Yu-Gi-Oh! GX characters. So tell me how this is. Chapter One: *lots of chatter going on* RikotheFoxKid: Attention Duelists! *everyone looks at him* Syrus: Wow! It’s LittleKuriboh! Jaden: Who? RikotheFoxKid: I’ll take it from here. Welcome to the very first Yu-Gi-Oh! World Tournament! Before we start, I would like to say that this is purely fan-made and has nothing to do with the Yu-Gi-Oh! Anime, Manga, or Yu-Gi-Oh! GX! The World Tournament will pit 8 Yu-Gi-Oh! Characters, 4 from Yu-Gi-Oh! and four from Yu-Gi-Oh! GX, in a tournament. Our announcer is LittleKuriboh, the creator of Yu-Gi-Oh! The Abridged Series! Our Judge is your’s truly, RikotheFoxKid! The 8 contestants are Yugi Muto, Seto Kaiba, Joey Wheeler, Marik Ishtar, Jaden Yuki, Zane Truesdale, Aster Phoenix, and Jesse Andersen! The rules are as follows: 1. These Duels will use the Advanced Format List of September 2007.2. All rules in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game Rulebook apply.3. If a rule is broken, the result is a Life Point Penalty.4. The winner wins a Duel against a mystery opponent, as well as access to the next World Tournament.5. All Cards exist in real life; no Anime/Manga/Video Game Only Cards will be used. RikotheFoxKid: And with that, let the World Tournament begin! The first match will be Seto Kaiba vs. Jesse Andersen! LittleKuriboh: Attention Duelists! Please report to the dueling field! RikotheFoxKid: Before we start, let’s have an interview with the two Duelists! First off, Seto Kaiba! Kaiba, why did you enter the World Tournament? Kaiba: To be World Champion, of course! Riko: Obviously… also, we know you have a fettish for the legendary Blue-Eyes White Dragon, so… *laughter* Yugi: Hey, look at me, I’m Seto Kaiba! I have a dragon fettish and I sound like Brock from Pokemon! Riko: Okay, back to the interview! So, can you give us a Preview of your Deck? Jesse: Well, I now have two of every Crystal Beast, including Rainbow Dragon. Also another special surprise! Riko: A special surprise? Well, we’ll find out what it is in the Duel! Let’s Go! Kaiba: [LP 8000] Jesse: [LP 8000] Riko: Both players pick up your middle card. Whichever comes first in ABC order decides who starts! Kaiba: Blue-Eyes White Dragon! Jesse: Rainbow Dragon! Kaiba: Looks like I’m up! [draws] I summon my Luster Dragon in Attack Position! [ATK 1900]. Now, I’ll set these two cards! End Turn! [Hand: 3] [Field: 1 M, 2 S/T] Jesse: My go! [draws] I summon my Crystal Beast Sapphire Pegasus! Kaiba: Chain! Go, Torrential Tribute! Riko: Kaiba’s Torrential Tribute destroys every monster on the field. Jesse: Sorry, but my Sapphire Pegasus goes to the Spell & Trap Card Zone instead! And his effect let’s me place another Crystal Beast in My S/T Card Zone. And I choose my Crystal Beast Ruby Carbuncle! Next, I’ll Set 1 card! End Turn! [Hand: 4] [Field: 3 S/T] Kaiba: My go! [draws] I summon Kaibaman! Next I Tribute him for Blue-Eyes White Dragon [ATK 3000] Jesse: Uh-Oh! Kaiba: But I’m not done! I play Future Fusion. I’ll send 2 Luster Dragon, 2 Blue-Eyes White Dragon, and 1 Divine Dragon Ragnarok to the Grave, and in two turns I get Five-Headed Dragon! Next I play Dragon’s Mirror! I remove the above cards from play to Summon Five-Headed Dragon! [ATK 5000] It’s over! Riko: Kaiba’s monsters can totally wipe out Jesse’s Life Points! This looks like the end! Kaiba: Blue-Eyes, Attack! Jesse: [LP 5000] Kaiba: Now, Five-Headed Dragon, attack! Jesse: STOP! I activate my Sakuretsu Armor! This stops your Five-Headed Dragon and destroys it! Riko: And with that, Jesse saves himself! Kaiba: End Turn! [Hand: 0] [Field: 2 S/T] Jesse: My Go! [draws] I summon my Crystal Beast Sapphire Pegasus! [ATK 1800] This puts Crystal Beast Topaz Tiger in my S/T Card Zone! Now I send all three of my Continuous Spell Cards to the Graveyard to summon Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder! [ATK 4000] Riko: AMAZING! So that’s Jesse’s secret weapon! Jesse: Now, my monsters, go in for a direct attack! Kaiba: [LP 2300] Jesse: End Turn! [Hand: 2] [Field: 2 M] Kaiba: [draws] Riko: Future Fusion’s Standby Count is 1. Kaiba: I set 1 card face-down! End Turn! [Hand: 0] [Field: 3 S/T] Jesse: [draws] Hamon, Attack! Kaiba: Activate Mirror Force! Riko: Hamon is destroyed and Sapphire Pegasus is sent to the Spell & Trap Card Zone. Jesse: End Turn! [Hand: 3] [Field: 1 S/T] Kaiba: [draws] Riko: Five-Headed Dragon is Special Summoned by Future Fusion! Kaiba: FINISH HIM! Jesse: [LP 0] Riko: And in a stunning comeback, Seto Kaiba wins! What is your comment, Kaiba? Kaiba: I knew I would win! Riko: Any comment from you, Jesse? Jesse: I tried my best! Guess that wasn’t enough! LittleKuriboh: Attention Duelists! This concludes the first match of the Yu-Gi-Oh! World Tournament! The next match will be Yugi Muto vs. Aster Phoenix! Riko: And that’s all for now!
