What Without DAD?

Most cards don't cause that big of an impact after they've been banned.

He was talking about the alteration that would be made to the meta due to its banning…

Crab was obviously joking. <_<

And yeah, banning DAD would cause a pretty big shift in the metagame. Non-chainables liked Dimensional Prison or even lowly Sakuretsu Armor won't immediately just sit on the field and be -3s for when DAD shows up.

Anyhow, while some people do overestimate DAD's role in Tele-DAD, many others who focus solely on the Emergency Malicious mechanic underestimate it as well, as is the case with the topic creator here. The loss of DAD would certainly not ruin Teledark decks in the way that the loss of Exchange of the Spirit ruined Exchange FTK, but those Teledark decks will certainly have lost a serious advantage - namely, that 5% of their deck is a high-level DARK that Special Summons itself from the hand for free, nukes the opponent's field for free, and swings for 1/3 LP. His impact as a major field-nuker on the cards that people use is also significant - after all, Tele-DAD has not-so-many outs to cards like Dimensional Prison other than DAD, but DAD is enough that such cards are not worth using.

So you were responding to a post as if you had misinterpreted the message even though you didn't? Ugh.

And Daddy isn't a totally unneeded card in Tele-Dad, but it honestly shouldn't be named after him. People mostly focus on the Emergency Malicious mechanic because it's used more often than DAD. He's a card that, if you happen to have in your hand along with 3 DARKs in the grave then congrats, you get a 2800 beat-stick and your opponent loses their entire field. He isn't always the win condition, but may very well end up being it. Well Tele-Dad wouldn't die off without DAD, it would certainly be crippled.

It would just be a E-Tele, Mali, and Krebons deck and it would still pwn. I personly am thinking of changing mah DADS to Dark Creators( if it gets banned), siding in some Return from the Different Dimesions. And adding some more powerful DARK cards. I have a Dark Creator OTK worked out.

What i'm trying to say is that if they ban DAD, other similar deck types would pop up (Like my Dark Creator OTK deck, i will post it soon), and if Malicious does not get banned or limited there would still be the Mali-Krebons-E-Tele combo out there.

The solution to this problem is not to ban DAD, but to ban Mali, or E-Tele. OR both.

NO GLADFAGS THO! GAWD NO!

WEN IT BE TEH BANNED I B THROWIN' DAH PARTIE!!!!11!! (DaD that is )
