The Dividers of Destiny are a team of seven lethal ladies, most with effects based around the concept of "half." The Pre-Destined are a group of unfortunate individuals fated to meet their end in a certain way...but gifted with powerful abilities in exchange. If it's removed from play, you can always bring it back with, say, Return from the Different Dimension. The Pre-Destined monsters remove themselves from the game for the rest of the duel, so as not to be overpowered, and also to fit with the theme of "meeting their fate."
