I'll use Cats Playing as an example. It's ATK/DEF are ridiculous even for a 2 tribute monster. It's effect isn't really that bad, kind of similar to The Unhappy Maiden (or was it The Unhappy Girl?). Maybe try something like this: Level - 6 ATK/DEF: 1700/1500 Effect: This card cannot be destroyed as a result of battle (damage calculation is applied normally), or by the effects of Spell and Trap Cards. If this card becomes the target of an effect monster's effect, destroy this card. Something along those lines. Fairly balanced. Not too powerful.
