Lemniscate
Skill and Luck are both important factors of any game. But when does the balance between Skill and Luck become unbalanced enough so as to not warrant play? Or so that a card becomes overpowered? Discuss. Guest
Skill and Luck are illusions created by the Glorious Goddess of Wisdom in order to test our faith. Believe in yourself, and you will find that the two meld into one.

And you're most likely feigning sarcasm. There's no point in you being sarcastic, you constantly use sarcasm tags or make it painfully obvious when you're using it, and sarcasm doesn't even work in that case. It's just you trying to pull the old no u.

It's just you trying to pull the old no u. I only use sarcasm tags when I feel that my sarcasm might be mistaken for an actual truthful comment. I didn't feel it was neccessary here, so I didn't use a sarcasm tag. Obviously though, you cannot understand something unless blatantly obvious or pointed out to you, so from now I shall use sarcasm tags in your presence so as not to show your ignorance. ~/Coolio Prime\~
Sarcastically stating that I am not surprised that Crab is being sarcastic.Dude, re-read your sentence. It's obviously supposed to be insulting him. If you weren't trying to insult him and were being sarcastic by saying something that would be just the kind of thing you were going to say, and you were trying to say that you weren't surprised Carb was being sarcastic, you would say something along the lines of, "Wow, Crab is using sarcasm, that's new." So either you weren't actually using sarcasm or were using it in such a horrible way and completely off from the way you usually use it that one could assume you were serious. So either you weren't actually using sarcasm or were using it in such a horrible way and completely off from the way you usually use it that one could assume you were serious.[/quote'] Please realize that sarcasm can and often does move beyond the limits given in your post. The purpose of sarcasm is to create a way to insult someone but so that they may not understand that you have insulted them. You are obviously one such person.Sarcasm is used to the same effect as, "I read 150 words about you in Us Weekly, and I feel like I know you already." It is an insult, but can seem like a compliment to someone who does not properly understand the statment.Keeping sarcasm to the limits given in your post becomes reptitive and boring, so licence is taken to expand upon the given idea and personalize it.It does not make the given form wrong, it merely makes it a differerent version. But to people who do not properly understand sarcasm, or who do not have a proper appreciation for nuance, this point is missed, and they instead derive ideas to which they respond as you did in your previous post. Marly
Lol@Argument over Sarcasm. Skill still matters in the game. If you run DaD, and have no idea how to run it/play YGO, guess what? Chances are your gonna lose to a badly made Crystal Beast deck. Same with any deck type, tbh. But luck obviously does matter. Having 4 Spells in your hand, and your opponent having Village on their field, is a great example. LS, another great example. *List goes on, and on, and on* Luck and Skill are both important, but IMO, they were equally important at one point, but today's meta has just turned the game luck based. :\
