Recycling Important to you or not?

Yes. Recicling is something important, specially in a consumist society where everybody buys a lot of things. When those people notices they don't need those things they trow it all to the garbage. That generates a lot of trash that needs to go somewhere, and is in that moment when recycling appears.

It's not REALLY trash you know. About 95% of everything we throw into the trash that end up in landfills are actually recyclable

We need a cooperative majority for recycling to be effective on a grand scale.

I'm all for it though' date=' what with limited resources etc.

In Germany it's a lot like that. Even what you recycle has to be divided into sectors, like one is for clear glass, one for colored glass, one for white paper, one for colored paper, one for clear plastic, one for colored plastic, etc

In China' date=' there are NO green bins.

There are just blue bins >_>

Which are the same, right?

No, they're just normal bins.

98% of Chinese people do not recycle, or do not know what is recycling.

You DO realize that "let nothing go to waste" saying is recycling too in a sense, right?

Plenty of Chinese people do that you know

Hi ragnakok.

I think you have forgotten Chinese people who live in the countryside, rain forest, small towns, villages, and people who have recently ate a Hamburger in the trash can.

DO THEY KNOW RECYCLING?

You first answer me if they grasp the concept of not letting anything go to waste
