The Unforgivingness of Mother Nature

Krakatoa blew itself apart. So the current worry in terms of Krakatoa is its Son that is forming steadily.

Krakatoa was only a VEI6 on a scale of 1-8. Luckily all VEI8 have occured before present the last being in 24,500 BC in Indonesia. The most notable the Yellow Stone Caldera. (Covered in the BBC's Super Volcano). Always makes me wonder when I think about Volcanoes about the UK's extinct Volcanoes, including the one under Edinburgh Castle, thought with all the streets around the Castle and leading upto it, you don't really get a good view of it. (I went there in 06)

There's always non-native fauna and flora getting into places, like the Grey Squirrel (in the UK considered a Vermin) which has decimated the Red Squirrel population in England.

I love how people like to forget the China quake from last March.

It's May. How could you not know?

Simple...they are American & they think they are so high and mighty that they don't need to know about other countries...

whereas the US constantly stresses nature's power on what it did to them to other countries (ex: Hurricane Katrina)
