DAMN EXCHANGE RATE

As a British citizen I am extremely upset about having to pay over-extortionate prices for U.S. goods due to the appalling exchange rate.

About a year a go, £1 was more or less $2

A month a go, £1 was roughly $1.39

It's now gone up to $1.44 and I can only hope that it continues to rise =/

Yeah, while this sucks for me it's probably great for all you yanks >.>

Thing is, when it was £1 to $2, things were about right - something cost £10 here it would cost $20 in America. The £ has lost value but U.S. prices haven't changed, so we have to pay moar T_T

You "Yanks" Shoud be grateful that you are spending a lot less on Fuel. Prices for a Litre of Petrol here has hovered around the £1 mark for nearly 2 years now. If the Goverment didn't charge so much Fuel Duty then it would be around 50p.

Also lately it is nice to see a slight reduction in VAT, I loved the way all the Supermarkets used it as a Marketing scheme (SAVE 2.5% OFF OF YOUR SHOPPING! ^_^)
