Rules for the Card Contests Section

 

 

 

- Each member can only run ONE contest at a time.

 

Subsection 1 - Any member can only be active in a total of 3 "Member VS Member" contests at a time. Matter not who made the thread.

 

- When you make a contest the overall rules of that Contest must be stated Clearly, prizes & End date must be stated also.

 

You MUST post the end date in one of the following formats (though, the year is usually not needed):

a. Day Month Year (ex: 28 April 2008, etc.)

b. Month Day, Year (ex: April 28, 2008, etc.)

 

 

- Prizes

 

You can give out a Maximum of 6 reps in Total within your contest as prizes, anymore then 6 reps within your contest and your contest will be closed. If you require more than 6 as prizes, send me a PM. You can also give out any number of points YOU OWN as prizes. Your prize cannot be higher than the number of points you have at the moment you begin the contest.

 

Subsection 1 - 1on1 contests can give out a maximum of 3 reps in total.

Larger Prizes are acceptable for contests involving more than 2 members. If you have any questions, PM me and I could give you an answer.

 

- When your contest is finished / completed or you want it Locked, please REPORT your contest, making it easier to be found by a moderator.

 

- You CANNOT have a set limit of contest entrants unless it is a Card Making Tournament or face-off.

 

- No Pointless Contests.

 

- If your contest has not had a post in it for at least 12 days it will automatically be moved to Finished Contests. If a contest this way is moved, and you want reopen it then PM myself or browarod and we shall move it back.

 

- You are allowed to hold Limits to contests for say members of a certain Level only etc.

 

- When hosting "member VS member" contests, all normal contest rules apply. No one else other than participants may give reps out for a 1on1 contest, unless you are hosting the contest and are not actually participating.

 

- No Banner, Avatar, Dueling, Deck or other contests allowed which involve no card making. Graphic Design contests are forbidden and belong in the Graphic Competitions forum.

 

 

Staple Rules for Good Contests

 

 

Your contest will be Perma / Temp Locked if you do not;

 

State an End date

Give correct prizes

Give no sensible explaination

If you Make more then 1 contest

 

 

These are the Rules, they will be Enforced!

- Artwork Enforcement -

 

Artwork credit is not needed unless the host requires it. If your artwork is used without permission and the original artist sends a complaint about his art being used, we are required by law to remove it from the site, no questions asked.

This forum is different than it was at the start of the year. Meaning, its rules needed updated. I updated these and they will have to do until I do rewrite the rules.
