They will die, as all humans do, and you will be left with nothing but melancholy feelings of regret. Or, they could simply forget about you because they were away for a long time, you stop receiving e-mails from them, there never on MSN anymore, you feel as if they've left you, and in one form or another, they have. Friends are like drugs. They make you happy, they cure you of boredom, and they help you forget about life. But in the end, they'll just ruin you. People who have no friends often envy those that do and that leads to...well bad things. This past weekend a girl in my school killed herself. I have no idea who she was and yet...there was some...bond there. When I heard it, I still felt a pain even though I had no idea who she was. It's pretty easy to tell when someone hangs around you just for money/use your stuff/ make themselves feel better about themselves/etc. Although that doesn't mean there aren't people who you hang out with that, when the pressure's on, won't bail on you. When i'm in a new place where no one knows anyone, i'm always the person the bigger freaks aproaches, generally they are people with social problems and i'm the only friend of some of them (i'm still trying to know why the freaks come near me, do i look like one of them?). But i have only a a few of really close friends, most of them girls (when i have a crush on a girl and i tell her she always end with "i like you as a friend" thing but we end being really close friends).
