Checked it atleast you didn't leave any background. Keep practicing.

I mite maek a tutorial for it later.

Basically, I suppose it's kinda like the gimp way.

Open Stock image

New layer

Outline image with lines/curve tool

magic wand inside the lines

click on stock layer

CTRL + C

File > new

CTRL + V

CTRL + I

Delete (for transparent bg)

My advice try GIMP or PS. Or practice ALOT more, after 2 attempts the lines should be improving a little in quality which there not. They still look like the line that made them wasn't smooth and was jagged (Happens sometimes to me when I accident Clear twice in my method).

One image is blurry' date=' maybe you should have sharpened slightly. Edges are still awful.

Give me PS Polygonal Lasso anyday.

[/quote']

The image came blurry

Ideas for the edges then? -.-"

Give me PDN Lines/Curves anyday.

You just blurred it which is bad, use a small eraser.

I didn't blur it... When I got the pic it came like that.

Small eraser = takes forever

hmm. I thought of something.

Diagonal lines make the line be pixelated, which means when I cut the picture out it will be all jagged.

I'm gonna try Gaussian blur on the layer with the lines at 1-2px

Here it is. Unfortunately I could not Gaussian blur it because summet screwed up.

I feathered it instead.

Believe me, it makes a difference

I found a MUCH higher quality pic of him

If I didn't close PDN I would have saved the one before feathering and shown it.
