Common Soul - discuss/flame the living hell out of me

Tribute fodder that also powers up a monster into a sizable beatstick...

K' date=' so it's a Fiend's Sanctuary that also turns another card in your hand into a weaker Axe of Despair.

[/quote']

and again we return to use with Flare Scarab, Grand Mole and NS Dark Panther, which are all as good (or nearly) as Axe, better sometimes in scarabs case, and the other 2 have good, useful effects

Not if you plan on Tributing them, they don't.

lets see, you can still use Panthers effect, scarab still provides a potentialy massive boost, and mole, depending on weather or not missing the attack from the tribute summoned monster worries you, is still just as good.

Why, yes. I will Tribute my Grand Mole from the field after using its effect. That makes perfect sense.

What, a second copy? The first one won't work again, unless you retrieve it with something like Trunade.

Once per turn' date='[/quote']

Future Fusion does not say "Once per turn" either; that doesn't mean you can use the effect of a single one multiple times.

Common Soul's Special Summon effect only works once, when it is first activated; from then on, it remains on the field only to await destruction.

Learn to play, rook.

excuse me for misinterpreting a card that has been used the way I interpreted it 11 million times by multiple people...
