Aaron's senses began to returned. He heard muffled, worried voices through the darkness. "What's going on he thought groggily?" Opening his eyes, he found it to be excruciatingly bright. "What's going on.....?" he mumbled.

[Negimalevolent]

He's waking up! Ar-Are you okay?

[Queen-Dragoon]

"I guess... Ow! A bit of a headache though..."

[Negimalevolent]

Yeah, what did you do back there!?

[Queen-Dragoon]

"Ummm... Do you believe in duel spirits?"

Yeah, got one, but he's a bit shy

[Queen-Dragoon]

"Well... that will make things easier. My deck has been just cards until Crystal's duel. It began to glow. Then Neo-Parshath appeared and said that he would be able to protect Crystal's soul but he needed some of my energy."

"There was no need for that though... The pendant I threw to her was enough to protect her, is that spirit realy reliable?

[Queen-Dragoon]

"I have no real proof that he is. But I have always trusted my cards and I'm not about to stop now."

[Negimalevolent]

Yeah... me too, can you stand right now?

[Queen-Dragoon]

"I think so... How is Crystal's duel going?"

The Phantom dissapeared again so she's okay

[Queen-Dragoon]

"That's good to hear... He'll be back... What do we do in the meantime?"

I'm not sure, actualy, the pendant, my mum made it, she's an enchantres, she can give things special powers! I need to call her, we could use some more pendants!

[Queen-Dragoon]

"Sounds like a plan. I need to get back to my dorm and work on my deck. Thanks for watching me."

Don't mention it... Ah! I just remembered, the Phantom could have come back! Before he went he said to Crystal: "next time it will be just me and you" We could still be in trouble!

Crystal knew she should be glad Phantom had chose to resign - she doubted many people had survived duelling him. But she couldn't help feeling this was an act of cowardice - he had fled all because he couldn't take her duel energy! Still, she leapt off the platform and caught up with Aaron and Peter.

 

"You didn't need to sacrifice yourself for me, you know," she said. "But thank you anyway. I see you've got a duel spirit. There's nothing to be ashamed of, I've got Dark Magician as mine." The spellcaster leapt out of her deck and placed a hand on her shoulder. Crystal just grinned. "You see? So anyway, where are you guys going next?"

I need to call my mum to enchant some more pendants, one to prevent escaping would be nice

"Ooh, I'll join you, I might as well thank your mum, even though the pendant never really played a part."
