Control is an issue for most 'vegetarian' vampires. Once you've been around long enough, the smell of blood usually dims down until it's nearly a background smell. It's important that you have practice with resisting the thirst, in case love with a human ever does come into consideration.

And Werewolves... what is all of this nonsense about them anyways? They do not involve us and we don't want to be involved with them.

how long are we talking here before you're finally able to resist? (since hollywood again BSed the making a serum to substitute for plasma to resist the thirst)

ragnarok1945: Again, it depends on the person. If you were turned at an older age, (35 or older), you will have more self control, but it will still take three years or longer. If you were born as a vampire, the smell goes away at about four months old.

zillaz9: Yes. As ragnarok said, it never goes away but it does fade away until it's practically nothing; over time.

yeah' date=' but that depends on how well you can control such cravings (in the werewolf thread it's said that's simply not possible)

Impossible for Werewolves.

It's nonsense is about the equivalent of vampire's nonsense.

Werewolves are almost the kin of Vampires. In some bizare demonic way.

I suggest you explain yourself on the kin, Fenrir (since Underworld's explanation is BS)
