Skuldur
I like Vampires' date=' my school has loads of factions among the students, theres a war between all the factions at the moment, and im the leader of the Vampire faction funnally anouth [/quote'] just invite a real one to your school to settle the debates They don't exist so it's impossible. Also Pale Bite, who do you go to when you go to the hospital because they would notice if you didn't have a heart. oh they do, they just choose to hide from the rest of the world. You just have to look hard enough And fairies and leprechauns exist too >_> Oh and Pale Bite why don't you show us a picture of you from the 1950s
Pale Bite
You'll never know, smart ass. Now go away if you are going to make any more unnecessary comments. We get that you don't believe in vampires. If you have a problem with us, then go complain to a moderator.
Skuldur
Well since you won't listen to reason there is not much else to say except that.... .... i'm God.
ragnarok1945
Exactly. People have noticed before' date=' believe me. There are a lot of observant humans in this world.[/quote'] thanks. They aren't the same like how hollywood portrays them (save in the Queen of the Damned film, which was a terrible movie anyway)
Pale Bite
Most definitely not. The media have no clue what they are broadcasting.
ragnarok1945
if you had seen the Blade films you'd see just how naive hollywood really is on the subject
Pale Bite
Oh, I've seen all of them. And I agree with you on that as well. They are monopolizing a magnificent species into something we are not. I still haven't seen or read the books, but from what I've heard about this 'Twilight' series, Meyer is most on-bat about us. ragnarok1945
I've actually not seen Twilight yet. How well does it portray?
Pale Bite
Well, the way Meyer describes vampires is pure gold. She's right about almost everything. The only thing that is wrong about her vampires, are that they don't age. In real life, if we are born as vampires, we age until we are seventeen. If we are turned immortal at any point in our lives, we will stay that age forever. But either way, her perspective is very close to the truth. ragnarok1945
well did Twilight say anything about the need for blood for vampires?
Pale Bite
I'm not sure. As I said, quote, Oh' date=' I've seen all of them. And I agree with you on that as well. They are monopolizing a magnificent species into something we are not. [b']I still haven't seen or read the books,[/b] but from what I've heard about this 'Twilight' series, Meyer is most on-bat about us. I'm not sure. I haven't really been told anything about Meyer's Vampire's diets.
ragnarok1945
I never read the books either, but some books/films insist that vampires need the blood in order to live, while others insist they just need it to keep up their strength
Pale Bite
Technically, both theories are irrelevant. We'd go insane and get slightly weaker if we were without blood for any length of time over a month. It's kind of like if humans were forced to go without water. It's very difficult for anyone to kill us; and for that matter, it's very difficult to kill ourselves as well.
ragnarok1945
please. We'd last barely a week without water. I'm not sure how long vampires can last without blood (assuming the theory is even true)
Pale Bite
If by last you mean survive, then forever. And if by last you mean give up, go crazy and kill everyone, then it depends on who you are and what strengths you have. For myself, I can go about three weeks without blood before I need to hunt. ragnarok1945
impressive. And yes, by "last" I mean survive.
Pale Bite
I bet people are reading right now thinking, "What the hell are these morons babbling about?" I know I would be thinking that if I weren't the one saying it. I wish people would understand that I am NOT trying to get attention, but trying to get the message through that vampires are real, whether they believe so or not. ragnarok1945
yeah but you know how most people are non-believers. Words usually don't work, they have to see it for themselves
Pale Bite
Yeah... it's too bad. If I could meet you all just to prove myself, I would.
ragnarok1945
you going to then proceed in converting them into vampires?
Pale Bite
I only change people who are dying or are in pain; in other words, I do not change someone because I want to. I only do it if I have to.
ragnarok1945
that's still better than hollywood's version, who only convert once you're unquestioningly loyal to them and have done enough of their bidding
Golden Chaos
I don't know, but this thread and especially the last discussion is somehow funny!!Anyway, I have a question:In the place where you live, do you have vampire colonies or clans?!
