Exiro
Fellow YCM'ers, During my journey of making all Tarot Cards of the Major Arcana in to Yugioh cards, when creating The Hermit, I encountered a problem. What level should he be? I had to think of a flawless system in the levels, and that's exactly what I did. The FactsArcana Force I - VII are LV4Arcana Force VIII is LV5Arcana Force XII - XIV are LV6Arcana Force XV - XVIII are LV7Arcana Force XXI is LV8 What you can see is that there are no more than 7 LV4 or lower Arcana Force monsters, and the set of LV4 or lower Arcana Force monsters is also complete(with the exception of the Fool, who is almost always an exception in something). This means that if there were 7 cards for each amount of tributes that are required, it'd just fit perfectly well. Then, there's the problem of whether they should be level 5/6 and level 7/8. Well, there are already three monsters of level 6 and four of level 7. From that information, I thought of the following system:Of the first level of 1-tribute monsters (LV5), there exist four monsters.Of the second level of 1-tribute monsters (LV6), there exist three.Of the first level of 2-tribute monsters (LV7), there exist four monsters.Of the second level of 2-tribute monsters (LV8), there exist three. This makes:LV4 = I - VIILV5 = VIII - XILV6 = XII - XIVLV7 = XV - XVIIILV8 = XIX - XXI The card I am at now is The Hermit, and he's number IX, which lies between VIII and XI, and therefore makes him LV5. You're welcome, Hermit When this card is Summoned' date=' toss a coin. - Heads: The opponent's current hand size becomes their hand size limit for as long as this card remains face-up on the field. Whenever your opponent's hand size exceeds their hand size limit, they discard cards until their hand size equals their hand size limit. No cards can be activated to make your opponent's hand size exceed their hand size limit. - Tails: During your Standby Phase, if your hand size exceeds your opponent's hand size, discard cards until your hand size equals your opponent's hand size.[/quote'] And once again, art is from the Aquatic Tarot. Enjoy.
-Berserker-
The effects seem balanced. The pic doesn't look like an Arcana Force. Maybe you should try (stealing) a pic of an angel from Evangelion.

Thanks for your comment, and the correct wording would be that other Arcana Force cards don't look like Tarot Cards, since they're based on that anyway. And I do agree that the picture I used isn't exactly the best card to use in a Yugioh card, but I prefer to be original. They're based on Tarot cards, so I use Tarot images.
