This is my entry for Darth's Diamond in the Rough 3 and my second ever Gemini. Identical Twins is what I think when I think Gemini as in the Zodiac

This card is treated as a Normal Monster while it is face-up on the field or in the Graveyard. While this card is face-up on the field, you can Normal Summon it to have it be treated as an Effect Monster with this effect:

This card is also treated as LIGHT. Once per Turn during Main Phase 1, you can remove up to 3 cards in your Graveyard from play to activate 1 of the following effects:

- Put Spell Counters on face-up cards you control that you can put a Spell Counter on equal to double the number of cards you removed using this effect.

- Normal Summon 1 monster from your hand with a Tribute Cost equal to or less then the number of cards you removed using this effect.

If this card is destroyed by an effect controlled by your opponent, you can return 3 cards to your Graveyard to Special Summon this card to your field during your next Standby Phase.

I-is that twincest!?

J-max, I think I love you. ;)

Anyway, I don't see any OCG problems other then a missing comma after "Once per turn".

Also, the wording for this sentence, "Put Spell Counters on face-up cards you control that you can put a Spell Counter on equal to double the number of cards you removed using this effect."

Seems like it doesn't have the correct wording, I'm not sure though :s.

I don't think it should be PG-13 for yuri, I mean, if someone posted a card with the picture of a woman and a man kissing, it wouldn't be PG-13, why would the gender of the people kissing change anything? :\

Removing 3 cards from play to gain 6 Spell Counters. Delicious.

Removing 2 cards from play to Normal Summon a 2-tribute monster. Delicious.

Removing 1 card from play to Normal Summon a 1-tribute monster. Delicious. The number of combos that can stem from this are laughable.

The last effect puts it a little bit over the top, in my opinion. Getting to put back 3 of the cards removed from play to Special Summon it back, letting you Gemini Summon it that turn and then using those same 3 cards as fuel for another Summon/Counter distribution. It's a unique effect, but it's a whole lot of upsides at once.

I like this card a lot because I think this is a good medium for how good a Gemini Monster should be. Having to (in most cases, save the cards that bypass a necessary Summon (Superalloy Beast Raptinus, Unleash Your Power, etc) use the turn's Normal Summon to gain the effects of a monster that was already there often is seen as detracting from your advantage. Few Gemini monsters really have good effects that compensate for the Summon you're losing to get their effect.

The self-revival effect is the only effect that seems over the top, and only because it inherently lets you reset the Gemini Effects that you already were using while you had it on the field. All you're offering in return for the fact that it was ever gone is another Gemini Summon.

It's not horribly overpowered because Geminis need good effects, and I would certainly use it in a Spell Counter theme. It can quickly generate a lot of counters. It's a good utility, for sure.

9/10.

Thank you very much for the In-Depth review Skyson +Rep. Yeah, I thought the last effect was a little overkill but you have to remember that you also give up a Turn to Summon it again for the effect. Also I made sure to keep the No-Tribute thing to a Normal Summon so it will codt you a Sommon for the turn.

I assumed the Normal Summon for the effect, because being able to Special Summon them would be disgusting.

The self-revival effect balances out with having to re-Gemini Summon, the only part I disagree with is getting to return 3 of your removed cards to your Graveyard. It just seems like you're setting the field back 1 turn as far as the monster's effect, instead of having to re-summon it and deal with losing your cards for the times you got to use its effects. It just seems to reward itself with its destruction. It also has ugly combos with off-themed cards like Dark Armed Dragon. xD

I dunno, if you look closely it looks like there might be more about to go on there than just kissing...

Possible twincest aside, the pic does make sense with the effect, and the effect is highly original. 10/10!
