PrometheusMFD
well okay maybe your right about south America but the US and Canada are probably the biggest allies in the world... but in the end it is just getting one step closer to a one world Government. is that good or bad. in mine i say good' date=' let the world do it we can finally do something other then fight with each other.[/quote'] Wrong! The US has better relations with the UK and even Japan than Canada. legendhiro
ok The Real United States of America! (no i am not talking about the county that G.W.Bush ran in to the dirt/no that BBC special.) i am talking about Canada' date=' the US, Mexico, and all of the other states of South America. Why can't we join forces together, like the European Union? a United Europe is possable and is happening but why not a united America? i live in Texas and well i see allot of immigrants be it legal or illegal i don't care, but i see them all the time, i mean the U.S has money, jobs, and stuff that Mexico dose not have. But what they have i gold, people who want to be here and most needed to U.Sers now is Oil! Mexico has that but is to poor to mine it let alone sell it. but if joined the U.S(you know what U.S is a bad term its for "U.S.A" lets make it U.A. United America.)If it Joined the UA then it could get jobs for its people and make the UA richer and them selves richer. And next we have Canada in the north full of trees and people that speak English. Right next to it is Alaska are little ice friend up there, not connected to the U.S but is a part of. We mine lumber and/or oil but when we have to go around Canada. Why not make Canada a part of U.A? (we could have universal health care. Well with Obama maybe.)But that way they get a piece of the pie and it gets a shorter line.More Oil! And i ask this when was the last war between any South American county ? its all nice and calm down there. but yet we the United States of America fighting a sticken religious/oil war with several middle east counties for no resign what so ever.We should be working on the home front not in a desert. if Europe can do it why can't we? discuses...[/quote'] we can't because the average US politician is a pigheaded a**hole who acts like he's better than the world but is really too afraid to ask anyone for help because he's worried of betrayal, and every one of them who isn't is either not important enough or to big a puss to get anything productive done. the US may have a lot going for it, but so does many other countries, any one of which could make the US stronger, but anyone who gets into a position to do anything about it is corrupted by power and selfishness. Cyber Altair
I can sum this topic up in one sentence. No. [/topic] why not? 1. The European Union isn't one singular country.doesn't matter.2. United America?lolwtf?3. Mexico can look after itself.lolwtf?4. Getting around Canada is easy. It is a nice little thing we call airplanes.lolwtf?5. South America is a continent' date=' not a country. Even if it was, it wouldn't have states. [b']lolwtf?[/b]6. Joining every single country on every single continent in North and South America into one country is damn well impossible.Only valid point. Willieh
America is ill run. We, if we were smart, would have made an alliance with Soviet Russia and Germany during WWII. In which case the world would have been conquered and we could be one large nation that doesn't have wars unless rebellion occurs; and if the united nation were to exist that rebellion would be a joke. The communism would slowly be able to evolve into a republic; after we are one united nation that is.
Dark
I'd rather not sift through 3 pages of this crap, so here is my opinion. lolno. Not just no, the lol part is included as well. It's "lolno". Pronounced, "lol-no". Derived from lol (laughing out loud) and no (the opposite of yes). America should be their own country. Why isn't India part of China? Why isn't Korea part of Japan? Why isn't Iraq part of Iran? These stupid questions are equaled to your question, "Why are Mexico and Canada not part of the USA." We cannot take other peoples land away, and no one will agree to this. The USA may be at a high trade deficit, but combining with other countries would not help us. Would not help the global economy. The global economy, IMO would not be affected. The USA's economy would go downhill considering this "United Whatever" thing you want combines Maple Syrup, Tacos and the USA. We obviously get trade from these countries, so screw combining with them. Illegal immigrants run rampant across the USA. We get thousands of illegal Mexicans every year. Combining the countries into one "United Crap" thing would be promoting this. Think of a big sign on the Mexican border saying... "All taco-selling Mexicans! Come to the USA, you can get money and won't be hunted down by the government. And screw all those angry Americans mad at you because YOU don't have to pay taxes! Come on down!" No. [spoiler=tl;dr Version] No.

Exyst
Companies would oppose this' date=' because then they can't get cheap labor from Mexico.Mexico would oppose this, because they like being independent.Canada would oppose this because I'm pretty sure Canada likes being it's own country too.Adding South America would lower the standard of living dramatically. tl;dr: No.[/quote'] Canada would oppose because with think Amaricans are too smart for us idiots *coughbushcough* This.
