Once again, we are accepting members. Episode 2 will hopefully be even better than the last one!

 

Avast ye, landlubers! This RP is quite simple, a Pirate RP! In this RP you will be controlling a Pirate and with many others will be getting up to no good. Who knows what the sea holds for you! Violence, Romance, Drama and Rum! Let's see what you can do on board...

Well, there be only one thing. In the span of this RP, the crew will have to fight various enemies, such as other pirates or creatures of the deep. The crew will also be allowed to raid desert islands and dock at seaports.

 

So, lets set the rules down then:

1) No God-modding, meta-gaming or power-playing

2) Minimum of 4 lines in writing

3) Characters must all be pirates on the ship. This way, we can decided how we slaughter our foes and control our own injuries etc.

Biography: The infamous Captain Frederick McGraw is know worldwide for his inappropriate behaviour, which in specific is his vulgar attitude, his alcoholism and his rather disgusting choice of vocabulary. Once a noble man, Frederick lost his fortunes on alcohol, from the finest wines down to the leftover rum from the gutters. He is argueably an alcoholic. Recentley, a group of pirates inspired him to become one. With the rest of his money he purchased a Galleon of the Pirates. He has been recruiting a crew ever since. He has always been trustworthy, except when he is drunk of course. He has had a long time rivalry with his life-sworn enemy Sir Cornelius Evangelicius Valentine, whom he hates due to his looks, wealth, traits and popularity amongst the women. He also has been known to be a survivor, and at that he is efficient with wounds and diseases.

Personality: Alcoholic, Trustworthy, Friendly, Ambitious

Weapon of Choice: A naval cutlass with a demonic faced hilt. He also has revolvers all over his body, ironically he carries little ammunition.

Biography: He had a fairly sad childhood. His mother died during birth, and the family dog became somewhat like his mother. However, when he was six, the dog died, a few years after his grandfather. When he was in school, he was always fairly smart, one of the top in his class. He was a brilliant strategist, and he always bested people in chess. He always wanted to be navigator on a ship, but not necessarily a Navy ship, like his father. He decided when he turned sixteen that he would become a navigator on a pirate ship, so, he came to Frederick McGraw.

Biography: Like most Drow, Vryn grew up in the under-dark, the Drow realm. Though at the age of 17 she ventured into the world of light, soon finding she prefered the scenery of green grass, rolling meadows, and the seeminglys vast and endless sea. While still young she learned the art of fighting at the age of 10, as most Drows do, seeing as their social Heirarchy is bassed on assassinations and death. Finding an endless love for the sea, she embarked with Frederick, wanting to see the world and all it held.

Personality: Vryn can be very bubbly and yet dark at the same time, due to her up-bringing. When push comes to shove, she can be a stone wall, unable to be swayed from her choices, and then she can be a follower, wanting to see everyone satisfied and avoid confrontations.

Weapon of Choice: Spear, Two small daggers hidden in her boots [close combat], and 2 Steel Fans [can be held to make a sort of shield, though used for dancing rather than fighting.]

Attraction: Heterosexual, when on drugs or drunk he can become rather "Bi-Curious"

 

Biography: Jonathan Matthews grew up in the average middle class family. His father a retired soldier trained him in the art of combat, his mother died in battle aside his father. This caused his father to become rather protective, which went against Jonathan's rather "free" way of living life. Conflicts would lead to more and Jonathan would leave his father and school by the age of 17. During this 10-year span, he would join a group of roadside bandits. Robbing carts and anyone that would pass by the group of bandits became a prime target to the governor. This fame made Jonathan rather confident and he continued his reign of terror as he would become the strong leader of the bandits. After a gun fight with the authorities, his crew was killed leaving only him. Later to only get captured and sent to prison. In the matter of a week, he escapes prison. Thinking to himself about his local fame, he decided to leave the life of roadside banditry for the life on the sea, from a bandit to pirate. His fame can hopefully transfer into the seas. He decides to join the infamous Fredrick McGraw and together the famous pirate and famous bandit can rule the seas.

 

Personality: Jonathan has a "free" way of living life, he does what he wants with no restraints. He is rather confident and even cocky at times. He tends to take a leadership role, and isn't a man that likes taking orders from others. In person he is rather friendly, polite, and pleasant to be around. Overall a strong, free, and confident man that is a good friend. In his free time he enjoys a good drink and a good smoke.

1. "Silverwind" a beautiful silver cutlass passed down the his family of soldiers. It has seen many battles and a lot of bloodshed. It is special to Jonathan.

Biography: Aras grew up in Lokomo Town, This town was nested on a small island that welcomed Pirates to their shores providing vast types of food and rum. On this island Aras grew up on his own, his family had abandoned him there and set sail to unknown destinations, he was raised by a single male swordsman who, from an early age, taught Aras that art of Swordsmanship. Aras proved to be a worthy apprentice to his new father who himself was known to have be one of the "Sword Masters" who had long since retired from pilaging and setting sail with a crew. Aras had grown to love his new father and drempt of one day setting sail with a crew as a Swordsman. There was one area of Swordsmanship that his father had taught him to be most important, Speed, not strength. He belived that one slash was all it took so the more you throw, the better chance you have. Although Aras would live to this ruling, he had also believed in hiw own way, each cut is meaningful, he wanted to be a Master Swordsman who never missed a hit. His father did intense training with him for years allowing slash to be light on his feet, super quick and fluent with a sword.

Personality: Cocky and independent, however he does care for others he looks out for his own interests as a priority before helping others.

Weapon of Choice: 2 1 metre long Katanas, thin and silver with a black handle that curves at the end.

Biography: Tri Xelar is an odd name for a Pirate but that is indeed a Pirate name from the FUTURE! He knew that the very best way is to stole the great treasure of the infamous Captain Mcraw is to go back to the past and steal it from Mcgraw himself. So he used his powers of returning to the past where Captain Mcgraw is out to an adventure to find his treasure. He went to the ship in an invisible mode and hide in a disguise as a blue skinned Pirate and gave out a fake name called Trist Evlar. He lost all his powers so that he can stole the treasure. He is now a crewmate of Captain Mcgraw.

[spoiler=Biography:]Scarlette had a very lonely Childhood, feeling as if she was a spawn of a devil due to her somewhat unruly behavior, as well as certain other characteristics, her parents abandoned her in the wilderness without any trace of food or water, being forced to survive on the lay of the land, she finally returned to her hometown, No education, No money, She went to a homeless life, working odd jobs at a Tavern for a living.

 

One day, during a violent rainstorm, her Hometown became a pirate hub at that night, many pirates came and went from the tavern, bar fights were quite common, and thievery was somewhat a rarity. Her life started to get a lot more boring in her honest opinion, so she started looking for a crew, looking like a strong man due to the fact that most ships don't take women and eventually got to serve on a trade ship.

 

On the ship, She showed a huge fascination in it's main cargo, Explosives and Cannons, and always yearned to be a Gunner, which she did, She was pleased with her new job as a Pirate could always board on a Trade ship at any time and she'd be ready, until 1 day, the Ship was sunk and she was captured by a large band of pirates and the booty plundered, she was forced to serve the pirates or be Marooned on an island, which she chose the latter.

 

On some random island, She was left with only a Machete, The island was desolate, but she could get by by cutting down a Palm tree, leaving her with plenty of palm heart to survive for quite a while. After a few days in the island, she was then somehow picked up by another ship and taken to some random town where she met Fredrick, she took an interest in him and wondered why she did not join the pirates earlier, With that, She went on account as Fredrick's crew.

 

[spoiler=Personality:]She is unpredictable and aggressive, making her very dangerous, She shows a fascination with explosives, and especially cannons. She hates to wait for battle, but she can be mellow if she wanted to. She has a hate for any sort of religion.

Blackbuster: A Swivel gun the size of a shrunken cannon that she holds at her waist in battle, affixed with several Spikes at the end, Used as both a long ranged weapon or Close quarters weapon, Typical Ammo includes Iron Spikes, but can be used with anything really

Rum Grenade/Pot: After a good old drink of Rum, Beer, or Wine, She tends to save the bottles to Make Hand Grenades and Stinkpots, Sometimes even combining the 2 together.

Bloody Kiss: A Flintlock Pistol, Adorned by a Kiss of burned on Lipstick on the barrel, Hence the name

Redwings: Dual swords for use in tighter situations, since her Swivel gun cannot be used as a Close ranged weapon every time(Like on a ship). the Blades are Bloodstained and the hilt has a winged crest.

 

 

[spoiler=Appearance:]She has a somewhat boy-ish build, about 6 feet tall, somewhat muscular for a girl, Long blonde hair that reaches down to her back. What makes her stand out however would be her Scarlet eyes that often strikes fear to even the hardiest of captains, She wears a slightly long blood-stained dress that reaches to her knees. Her Swivel gun affixed to her right side, Her pistol is holstered on her left side, and her Dual Swords are hidden on her legs by long black kneesocks, accented by blood-stained boots. She hides the Ammunition to her Swivel gun on her back and the Ammunition for her pistol in a Make-shift bra.

RP Name: Selina Agave

Age: 19

Attraction: Men. She is Straight.

 

Biography: She was born to unknown parents. All that she remembers is that her parents were step-parents, Royal Drows that tried to teach her to be stuck-up and snobby, just like them. But she knew deep inside that this wasn't right. So, she rebelled against them constantly, but normally put into her place. She eventually escaped, and was found by a Pirate Crew. She ventured with them for a while, but very recently, the ship was blown up, sending Selina flying with a single plank in her hands. She has been floating for four days now, exhausted, hungry, thirsty, hoping someone would pick her up.

 

Personality: She is a kind woman when she wants to be. Though she is fiesty, and clever, she is a little outgoing toward crewmates. Around new crewmates, she will be a little cautious, but once warmed up, she will express her true feelings against any ally: Quiet, and being quite easily satisfied in happiness.

 

Weapon of Choice: She usually only uses her fists, though she was trained in using a Revolver and a Cutlass a little bit of time before her successful escape.

Bio: 19 year old Skipper McGraw is the only son of Frederick McGraw, born out of wedlock and raised by Valentine untill he left home to find his dad. Skipper is an innocent young man who idolises his father and will literally take bullets for him. He trusts all of the crew, but none more than Captain McGraw. He has recentley developed a crush for Vryn, but doesn't know how to approach it. Skipper hasn't got his life in order and doesn't know what he want's to do. However, he does know one thing. Pirating is an excellent hobby.

Episode 1: The Ballad of McGraw (FINISHED) : (The Pirates begin their first adventure by getting to know eachother. Their first objective simply is to get some treasure. However, things are not always as easy as they seem.)

Name: Magnet Tortugan

Bio: This majestic, sturdy turtle has guarded the Fountain of Youth for many centuries. Originally a shy, gentle turtle, this turtle has grown absurbly aggresive due to many people trying to drink the water, thus this turtle aggresively fights back. It is said that when defeated, it will calm down.

Appearance (Optional): This majestic turtle is basically a gold-plated smooth-shelled turtle with its appendages seperated from the main body. Its lower jaw is further seperated from its upper jaw. It can swim, but it can also hover above ground.

Special Ability (BOSS ONLY): It drains electricity like a lightningrod. This creature chanels electricity, and can also used its flippers as boomerangs. It is so durable, not even a lightsaber penetrates through its weak spot. It can also manipulate gravity.

Episode 3: Passion in a Bottle: (Romance fills the air as a couple who's romantic life has did asks the Pirates to do something to re-kindle that spark. The essence of love itself is being hunted by our brave heroes.)

Name: Talon Bloodrayne, the Immortal

Bio: Born into piracy, he knows nothing else. His parents were of the baddest pirates in the 7 seas, his father, Taladasius, was known to have never given mercy to anyone. Upon relizing he would not be alive much longer, due to the all out search for him, he dipped his new born son into the Fountain of Depravity, allowing him to withstand harsh wounds and beatings.

 

Upon first starting a crew and setting sasil to the seas Talon gained quick rep for unspeakable actions that would shock regular folk to the bone. After 10 years of attempt and fail, he was finally captured and secured in the biggest and most thought to be impenetrable prison in the world, however after a few years he broke free. Possessed with his evil ways he holds a grudge, an unknown grudge be it, with McGraw, that leads Talon to do whatever it takes to reach him. Although his severly wounded state may not be the best of chances for him to attack Mcgraw.

Special Ability (BOSS ONLY): He has an unusual ability that allows him to have incredible durability, that is, cutting him open seems to do little to no effect, unless all his bones are broken and all his blood is lossed, he willl stand up. He is also a Master Swordsman and Gunslinger, he has no crew and is on his own.

Weakness (BOSS ONLY): He has little physical strength, he would not do so well in hand to hand combat

 

Also: His really battered as he broke out of prison not to long ago, sow e dealw ith him fairly simply, but he still shows strength.

Episode 4: Confronting Captain Valentine: (McGraw's rival Valentine returns as a Naval Officer with a bounty on his head. His ship is bigger, his weapons are tougher, but who will triumph out of this rivalry? Will it finally settle down? Or will it go out in a bang?!?)

Sir Cornelius Evangelicus Valentine is a nnobleman of the highest order. Recentley the Monarch of Dunbridge has asigned him as a Naval Officer, with a mission, to bring in Captain McGraw!

Episode 5: Death's Fickle Finger's: (Nobody ever deals with the devil and nobody plays with death...that is until McGraw puts his life on the line for cash, and inevitably loses. What will become of the fate of Captain Fredercik McGraw...or should we say ex-Captain?)

Bio: Blanira was Scarlette's older sister, She was executed at the age of 5 for opposing Their parent's Decision to throw Scarlette out. Due to how young she was and why she was killed, Death willed Blanira to remain in this world to guide Scarlette through her adventure with the use of an ability to infiltrate the dreams of others given to her by Fate. She is very jealous of Fredrick and seems very willing to give him a good old go around. In addition to her ability to infiltrate dreams, She has perfected some very strange abilities that now rank her as a Supernatural force

Appearance: She cannot be seen outside of the subconscious, but inside, She tends to share the exact same appearance as the dreamer, but often darker and without any sort of weapons.

Special Abilities: Ethereality(AKA, you can't see or feel her and she can pass through walls), Can make things appear out of thin air, Sleep touch, Subconscious projection, Voice throwing, Against a weak-willed human, She can control their dreams

Episode 7: Attack at the Soul: (The war of the Hearts rages on. But now the enemy are playing with forces they cannot possibly comprehend. The events of this war will shake the world as we know it.)

Bio: A 9 headed Sea Serpent that when its heads is cut two more appears. A violent beast that roams everywhere to find victims. It was a legend that Hercules was the only one who have defeated such beast. It is also said to be the guardian of the Underworld.

Bio: A girl who came across Aras when the Pirates decided to take rest on an Island which was secretly Bloodrayne's. She spoke on Talon's behalf, tricking Aras to join him as he seeked further power. She also tries to seduce other pirates of both genders as she is a sucubbus in disguise. She enjoy's toying with people's emotions and hurting them mentally and emotionally rather than physically, because the scars last forever. Eliza has been known to be flirtacious with Talon, although he shows no sign of interest.

Bio: After Valentine perished, when Talon roses to Master of Demons he ressurected him in this newer, stronger form. However, Talon alone couldn't raise him from the Grave, his hatred for McGraw also fueled this. Now, being not as handsome as he used to be, he has an absoulute hatred for McGraw. He is completely obidient to Bloodrayne's ever command without question, as his hatred has eradicated all other emotions he feels. He wants to see McGraw get crushed by his own hands.

Bio: Aras was overjoyed at the age of 8 when Mcgraw allowed him to join his crew, there were many appealing factors to Aras because of this, 1) the crew was little at the time, so he expected Mcgraw to only choose those skilled, 2) He was still young so he saw himself as an apprentice to Mcgraw, 3) he could travel the world and rise tot he ranks of a legendary swordsman and 4) He could have the feeling of having a full family to live with. Aras trained vigorously once he heard pirates were recruiting in his home town, he had learned to start wielding a sword at 4 years old! So this was his big shot he figured. Aras never forgot the time when he waited in the line of recruitment with all the other wannabe pirates, no captain would take him.

 

"You!? You're just a kid!"

"I bet you can't even wield a sword!"

"What use are you?!"

"Get out of here!"

 

This didn't discourage Aras althugh he was extremly upset, he trianed vigorously non stop until night time came. It was then that he met Mcgraw.

 

Aras's foster father Goldtooth, was a master swordsman who taught him all about weilding a sword, however when Aras turned 15 he heard of his home town beig destroyed, along with his foster father. Aras was destrought by this but witht he help of Mcgraw and Crew, he got passed it. Aras had countless victories over various swordsman whilst on the Mcgraw ship, however, after consecutive losses and the false promise of power and reputation from Talon Bloodrayne, Aras left the ship at night and to his surprise was to confront Mcgraw.

 

Aras now returns believing he has become much stronger through the teachings of Talon Bloodrayne, he shows great skill and technique against Mcgraw and crew, after an ardjeous battle, Aras severly wounded retreats, when arriving back to Talon Bloodrayne, Talon sees no use for him and plans to have him executed in front of his now large crew in their home island.

He believes they are ready to proceed into the 8th Sea, but want's to test them personally by engaging them in combat. However, he has reduced his power's and stored it in the Divine Vault in order to maintain the universes balance.

Robbing carts and anyone that would pass by the group of bandits became a prime target to the governor. This fame made Jonathan rather confident and he continued his reign of terror as he would become the strong leader of the bandits. After a gun fight with the authorities, his crew was killed leaving only him. Later to only get captured and sent to prison. In the matter of a week, he escapes prison. Thinking to himself about his local fame, he decided to leave the life of roadside banditry for the life on the sea, from a bandit to pirate. His fame can hopefully transfer into the seas. He decides to join the infamous Fredrick McGraw and together the famous pirate and famous bandit can rule the seas.

 

Personality: Jonathan has a "free" way of living life, he does what he wants with no restraints. He is rather confident and even cocky at times. He tends to take a leadership role, and isn't a man that likes taking orders from others. In person he is rather friendly, polite, and pleasant to be around. Overall a strong, free, and confident man that is a good friend. In his free time he enjoys a good drink and a good smoke.
