War, war never changes...

In the past mankind has declared war over the most simple of things before finally in the year 2077 the world was forever changed in just two short hours by the nuclear Armageddon. Mankind was all but wiped out, if it weren’t for the Vaults designed by Vault-tec it would surely be extinct and while many remained in the Vaults for up to 200 years the Vault Dwellers have been slowly emerging to repopulate the wasteland, grateful for their shelters. Now, over 200 years after the great war mankind has begun to reclaim the wastes as its own and the horrible truth of the Vaults is slowly revealed; based on the pretext of offering shelter to a select few, the American government used the Vaults as social experiments, introducing elements into the vault to test its inhabitants and to observe them, as such many of the Vault experiments ended in disaster, with the inhabitants deserting, turning on each other or dying by any other means. Of the 122 vaults commissioned by the American Government only 35 are known, most of them having been left to rust in the wasteland and only few of them remaining inhabited. The year is now 2290 and a new Vault has been discovered a few miles south of Rivet City, just outside the Capital Wasteland, however unlike the other numbered vaults this new vault is marked with an X. All attempts to access the vault proved unsuccessful and it soon began to stir rumours among the population of the Capital Wasteland ranging from a magnificent super vault with some of the most advanced technology ever known to just another of the government’s twisted experiments on mankind, soon after its discovery the Brotherhood of Steel moved in to occupy the area intent on studying the vault and its secrets but were unable to gain access. News of the mysterious vault began to reach outside of the Capital Wasteland, attracting raiders and other factions such as the NCR who wish to claim the vault as their own, mistaking the rumours and tales for fact. As war threatened to begin anew the Brotherhood discovered a code that would open the vault door, but could only open it for a few sparse moments after which the code would scramble and they’d be unable to open it again. Theorizing that there would be some way to open the vault from within the Brotherhood formed an elite group of scavengers from all over the capital wasteland tasked with going inside the vault to uncover its secrets. The group was gathered and the vault opened for them to enter, sealing shut behind them once they were in. As soon as the group where sealed inside a strong gas began to leak into the room, knocking the group out cold. Each member of the group awoke one by one, not knowing if they had been out for hours, days or even years. Each of them found themselves waking in the vault’s living quarters, their equipment gone and replaced with a vault X jumpsuit and a Pip-boy 2000 strapped to their wrists. Their memories are foggy but they still remember their task and intend to carry it out.

You are one of a group tasked with investigating the mysterious Vault X, upon entering the vault you and your group were knocked out and awake some time later in the living quarters with all your equipment gone and replaced with a Vault X jumpsuit and a Pip-Boy 2000. Your task is simple, retrieve your equipment, find out the secrets the vault holds and find a way out to report your findings to your employers. How or even if you still wish to proceed is up to you but remember this; you are trapped within the vault and for the moment there is no way out.
NOTE: It is not mandatory to be one of the group, you can be a person already in the vault itself or an outsider who somehow got tangled into this mess. Feel free to play whoever you like.

Name: Tari Ovisk
Age: 24
Race: Human
Gender: Female
Personality: Tari inhabits a morally grey area, doing what she feels like without considering the long term consequences for other people. Whether she's being cruel or kind Tari is usually in it for herself and has little consideration for others. However that's not to say she won't make friends with others, if people treat her with respect then she will treat them the same and even if there's something in it for her she won't help those who disrespects her or anyone she’s close to. Tari always prefers the stealthy or subtle approach, avoiding head on battles unless absolutely necessary but, while never truly intends to offend anyone, is not the most tactful of people.

Skills: Tari is most adept at Stealth and infiltration, able to move almost completely silently, she is also skilled at hacking and lockpicking making her able to infiltrate virtually anywhere with ease and while she favours conventional guns she is no stranger to energy weapons and has some experience with computer tech.
Equipment: Tari commonly carries 3 weapons, a Sniper Rifle for long range targets, a Combat Shotgun for closer targets and a Revolver for emergencies. She wears a black stealth suit and a modified coat she made herself by scavenging parts from a Stealth Boy which can blend into its environment with an electric current running through it, however the camouflage is not perfect and the electrical current can be disrupted or run out fairly quickly.
Biography: Tari was the result of a one-night-stand and quickly abandoned in the wasteland upon being born and left to die. By a stroke of luck Tari was discovered by a scavenger who took her in and raised her as a daughter, teaching her not only basic wasteland survival but the skills of stealth and infiltration. The scavenger eventually died from an unknown cause and Tari was left to fend for herself once again, now possessing the tools and skills to make her way through the wasteland. After some time Tari became quickly renowned for her infiltration skills and was often sought out by people wishing to hire her to off groups or individuals or became the target of bounty hunters and glory seekers. Due to her reputation she was the first to be sought out and recruited by the Brotherhood of Steel to enter Vault X and with the hefty reward and rumours of what awaited inside Tari accepted the task.

Name: Veeayte (V-8)
Age: At least 200 years old
Race: Robot: Mark I Mr Handy
Gender: None, but considers itself male and has a male voice pattern
Personality: Veeayte is friendly and optimistic despite having been virtually alone in an abandoned vault for over 200 years. He is always quick to point out the silver lining in any given situation and frequently plays the peacemaker if any arguments should ensue. He is often found talking to many of the vault appliances, including furniture, doors and other inanimate objects and, although they don’t respond, continues on as if having an actual conversation with them. Veeayte enjoys talking a lot and will do anything to strike up a conversation. Although Veeayte openly admits to knowing exactly what is going on within Vault X he is unable to tell anyone due to his programming and any attempts to override this programming have ended in failure, aside from that however he is happy to answer any and all questions directed at him.

Skills: Veeayte is a skilled talker and is able to read body language and voices to interpret what people might be thinking.
Equipment: Sensors: Basic sensors with three eyes. Communicator: Advanced communicator with a human-like voice, Humor Emitter Array. Arm Motors: Three arm motors, extra-flexible, one ending with a saw blade, and another with a blowtorch which can be used as a flamethrower. Propulsion: Single jet-powered hovering system.
Biography: Veeayte has been in Vault X since it was built as a maintenance robot and, while there were other Mr Handys in the Vault they kept to the lower levels and he kept to the upper levels and barely interacted with the others. Over the course of his isolation Veeayte has apparently gone slightly mad as shown by his habit of striking up conversation with objects completely incapable of talking back to him and continuing regardless. Due to his isolation Veeayte became very excited when he discovered people entering the vaults and quickly began to greet them as they woke up in their rooms, hoping that they would stay on as the Vault’s new residents.

Name: Riley Simmons
Age: 102 (appears to be 17, though)
Race: Ghoul
Gender: Male
Personality: Riley is one of the few intelligent ghouls around town, and it definitely shows during combat. He'll take as much time as he can to calculate his moves as flawlessly as possible during a given moment. However, he'll only act under any way, shape or form of urgency if his own life is on the line, and in truth is more of the type of guy that would roast a marshmallow or light a cigar over another man's burning body. Sometimes Riley will plainly refuse to think about whatever it is that other people are going through, and he frankly doesn't care in the slightest. But when he wants someone dead, he'll make sure it happens, whether he kills that person himself or flat-out refuses to save him or her from an infestation of radscorpions.

Skills: Whenever Riley gets radiation poisoning, not only will he gain health, but he will also grow physically stronger and move faster and with more agility. He also cannot die from radiation poisoning itself no matter how greatly he's exposed, doesn't feel any pain since the nerves responsible won't function any more, and can actually regrow whatever's missing from anywhere in his entire body, until it's at the state it was in after the radiation wave. Even if all four limbs were to be blown off, Riley would gain new ones within 24 hours. However, he could still die if he was stabbed repeatedly, and if there were second-at-longest pauses between stabs.
Equipment: A couple of Shishkebabs are all Riley uses for weapons most of the time, although he does carry a Trial Carbine on his back. This is mostly for shooting things that are too far away to kill with the Shishkebabs, and is surprisingly handy in sniping situations. Riley practically has nothing in terms of armour, as he doesn't like to wear it, and he'll probably just be able to regenerate his body as soon as he's finished killing everyone that proves to be a threat, so in theory he doesn't really need the extra armour. He does however have plenty of ammo for the Trial Carbine, and he also has a communications module that he had 'borrowed' from a Mark I Mr. Handy which, considering his lack of a lower jaw, he probably needed more than it.
Biography: Cain was the first ghoul to be accepted into the Brotherhood of Steel, and by following his footsteps, Riley Simmons had become the second. Riley and Cain would've likely got along with each other and perhaps even been war buddies if they had ever met, but neither of them were the sort of persons that would even bother to get to know their acquaintances. Riley seemed to be fine with that for the most part. What he wasn't wasn't so fine with was how he looked. Even though he did get hit by a heavy dose of radiation poisoning, Riley still has hair, and he even still has it in the same style that he always had it in his human days, and even in the same oily black. However, the skin has come off his whole left side of his face, and his lower jaw had fell off in its entirety. Not to mention he only has half a left eye. What exactly happened to the rest of the body is unknown, and Riley would much rather keep it that way, in all honesty. Riley decided to enter Vault X by his lonesome self, because it was here that he was hit by the radiation 85 years before. Although he can't remember exactly where at the moment, he'll know the location when he sees that dreaded jaw. In the meantime, he's 'borrowed' the communications module from a nearby module in case he were required to ask around, since he was hopelessly unable to speak for himself before that... literally. That jaw meant a lot to Riley, considering it was a literal part of himself, and he's not getting outta there alive without it.
Name: John Blackmoore
Age: 27
Race: Human
Gender: Male
Personality: Blackmoore is the sort of person who makes you simultaneously laugh at his antics and piss yourself in fear when you realize just how much danger he could actually be putting you in. In other words, he's been described as having a few screws loose but having them tight in the right places. He has an unusual attraction to machinery, often naming pieces of equipment, tools, and weapons that he either comes across and becomes very fond of, or makes himself. He has a particular hatred for Caesar's Legion, often going out of his way to eliminate anyone who happens to have any positive connection with that faction.

Skills: Blackmoore is particularly gifted with machines, capable of making repairs with little if any spare parts and often with sub-standard tools. He also happens to be quite gifted with the creation of unique weaponry and tools, usually to fit specific jobs that need to be done or for general utility. While not the strongest person, he does have some skill in hand-to-hand combat both armed and unarmed. Finally, he has been described by some as a crack shot by those who knew him.
Equipment:
Blackmoore typically wears a suit of armor based upon the Brotherhood of Steel's standard power armor, maintaining the same style of helmet but with a much more tight-fitting form of armor plating.
He typically carries a pair of plasma pistols, lighter in build than the standard variety without sacrificing any damage dealt from the shots. However, they tend to have a slightly lesser number of shots that they can fire per battery.
As for melee weaponry, he tends to carry a pair of single-edged blades about five inches wide and one and a half inches thick. The edges are serrated in such a way that the points of the teeth are pointed downwards. Finally, these weapons are surrounded by a high powered electrical field which produces quite the decent amount of heat, allowing the blades to cut through things such as armor and metal.
Finally, Blackmoore has a pair of cybernetic enhancements added to his arms. These are a pair of high-powered laser rifles which emerge from the underside of each arm. The extra power of these weapons comes at the cost of each only being fired a total of three times before it is necessary for him to reload, but they are probably the most powerful weapons on his person.
Biography: Blackmoore grew up, of all places, on a small town just east of the Colorado river. He was about sixteen when the legion first arrived there, and he and his father were among the few to resist them when they did come. For some reason, a legionnaire of higher rank than the others saw fit to take Blackmoore captive rather than simply kill him, and he forced the young boy to watch as his parents and most of his friends were crucified. He was then sent, along with a few other captives, back towards the east under guard to a facility where they would undergo the breaking process and training to essentially make them mindless soldiers of the legion. It was four days into this journey when Blackmoore was fortunate enough to find the caravan under attack by the forces of the Brotherhood of Steel who had a particular hatred of the legion. Rather than simply wander out into the wastelands, John joined up with this group of the brotherhood and was trained extensively in the higher tech variations of weaponry and armor. It was also discovered that he had an almost natural affinity for most varieties of vehicles and tech in general. He lived in this environment for eleven years, across that time finding his way back in the Capital Wastes and the Brotherhood headquarters there. His skill with weapons technology and, well, machines in general put him high on the list of those considered to be sent into Vault X. It was unnecessary to ask him twice.

You don't have to no, but if you use custom equipment be sure it is something that would still fit into the game. For example my character uses a camoflaugh coat that isn't from the games but uses technology from it and is loosely based on one of the stealth suits from Fallout 3 that could turn you invisible

Okay first thing's first, personality is too short and vague, it needs to be 3 lines minimum (lines, not sentences). Second, the appearance needs a full body image for a picture or at least describe the rest of what he looks like in writing. And finally I'm assuming the vault he walks into in the bio is Vault X in which case he can't simply push the door open, if you re-read the plot intro it says very clearly that the vault door is impossible to open, he could sneak in when the main group enters or talk his way into being part of the group itself but he can't get in that easily.
