Once, during your Main Phase, and while this card is face-up on the field, you can: Fusion Summon 1 Beast-Type Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck, by banishing Fusion Materials listed on it from your Graveyard. All Beast-Type monsters you control gain 200 ATK.________________________ How do these support Fire Fists? Well.... They don't =D But seriously... Concept wise, these are an homage/parody of Fire Fists- It's evidenced by the fact they have a near identical naming convention; the fact it's monsters of a specific, unconventional, Type/Levels/whatever that play Continuous cards that in turn play off the monsters; the Extra Deck card is a Fusion, compared to Fists that use Synchro/Xyz, etc; Fists feature a lot of orange and gold, these use a lot of green/silver; Red(FIRE) is the complementary color to green(WIND); etc and etc. And of course, because of the nature of Beast-Types favoring ones of a lower level, I figured I'd make these follow a similar path, with these supporting Level 3 or lower Beasts. Oh, and the Fusion can be played through Instant fusion for coolness/cuz' you'd typically want that. The rest of these is whatever you make of it. ParadoxCaller Posted May 11, 2016 Report Share Posted May 11, 2016 Okay first of all I have to say, these are f*cking adorable xD Really like the artworks and the overall synergy between the cards. But here's a few things I would change: I would give Fox-Kin a search only when another Beast monster deals damage, or remove its direct attackability. Cause lets say for arguments sake that you Summon Fox-Kin turn 2, succesfully attack directly, Set Rally the Team, activate it and search Panda-Kin. Now you can pitch Rally the Team for Panda-Kin and Fox-Kin becomes 1800. Or, you Set Hiding Spot, making Fox-Kin 2300 next turn and unaffected by your opponent sh*t. Or, Set Rally the Team, search whatever (preferably another Fox-Kin), pitch Rally the Team for Fox-Kin and SS a big m*thaf*cka from your hand. I would also restrict Fox-Kin's SS effect with a specific Level, otherwise you could easily get out a Barbaros or an equally big monster. I would change Lion-Kin's effect to this as to clean it up a bit: Activate these effects:When this card is Special Summoned: You can add 1 "Family of the Fuzzy Paws" or "Friendly Maneuver" card from your Deck or Graveyard to your hand. When this card is Fusion Summoned: Inflict damage to your opponent equal to the number of its Fusion Materials x 500, and if you do, all monsters your opponent currently controls lose ATK and DEF equal to that amount. You can only use this effect of "Family of the Fuzzy Paws - Lion-Kin" once per turn.If this card was Fusion Summoned using at least 2 "Family of the Fuzzy Paws" monsters as Materials, activate this effect: * Beast-Type monsters you control cannot be destroyed by card effects.I find it interesting that you made Fox-Kin a Tuner. It does open up the archetype for the option to use generic Level 5 Synchros. Do you plan on adding a Synchro eventually or anymore cards? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Toffee. Posted May 11, 2016 Author Report Share Posted May 11, 2016 Decided to retool Panda, Rooster, and Lion. Didn't really like Panda and Rooster being so set-in-stone for Fusion plays, and gave Lion the ability to recycle Maneuver cards while also letting it Summon any Beast from the Deck/Graveyard. Mainly because recovering your Maneuvers, only for the rest of them search them again, will ensure additional plays, which is always a bonus. Also got around to recoloring some of the artworks/etc, so they fall more in-line with the overall design of things. I would give Fox-Kin a search only when another Beast monster deals damage, or remove its direct attackability. I would also restrict Fox-Kin's SS effect with a specific Level, otherwise you could easily get out a Barbaros or an equally big monster.Fox' ability to grab Maneuvers, and then make plays in MP2 is a reference to Fire Fist Bear- Bear can send formations to destroy monsters, and then attack directly/deal damage/whatever to search Formations. But instead of destroying monsters, I gave it the ability to Summon other Beast-Types. I find it interesting that you made Fox-Kin a Tuner. It does open up the archetype for the option to use generic Level 5 Synchros. Do you plan on adding a Synchro eventually or anymore cards?Part of why Fox is a Tuner is because the other 2 Main Deck monsters are Level 2s- It's implied you'd make Number 64(which needs 2 Level 2 Beasts), or whateverthefuck with them and/or they cant really be Tuners for obvious reasons. Also because... Key Mouse and X-Saber Airbellum might as well be Normal monsters, 'The Fabled' Tuners are better suited among there own Archetype, and Valerifawn is geared more towards Raccoons/similar niche monsters/etc. So Fox being able to play other Beasts, while being a Tuner itself, opens up more options. And no, I don't plan to make Synchros/Xyzs. Fuzzy Paws would stick to Fusions. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Toffee. Posted May 12, 2016 Author Report Share Posted May 12, 2016 Added Expedition. It's a combination Ultimate Offering + Trap version of Miracle Fusion, for Beast-Types. I've been meaning to add another Trap; makes plays with Panda more prominent. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Toffee. Posted May 16, 2016 Author Report Share Posted May 16, 2016 Decided to throw 1 last card into a mix; Yep, another Fusion. Monkey is, more or less, just supposed to help in 1 of 2 ways- The first is removing problem cards/threats/etc that could otherwise mess with you ahead of time, while also giving a temporary shutdown to whatever else they might have, all while not directly addressing any of it. Think of it as just creating a momentary window of opportunity. The second is the fact you can also use it to bounce your own cards like Rally/Hurry/etc, for another round of shenanigans, which makes it an ideal combo card/enabler. However, if you want to bounce your opponent's stuff and your own, you are forced into investing more Beast-Types into it. Monkey can also be used to play off Lion, and vice versa, because there are a handful of cards outside of this Archetype that both of them together can take full advantage of. And with that, I'm pretty much done with this set. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

~~~~ Posted May 20, 2016 Report Share Posted May 20, 2016 Armz, would you submit these to 2099? They look rather fun. EDIT: Maybe you could talk to Darkness/Carnage about making this into a Structure Deck. EDIT2 for Advanced Clause: So this deck seems as if it would synergise very well with the Raccoons deck. It also seems like it can Synchro Level 5 very well, but unfortunately cannot make Nat Beast. Because of this and the Level 5 Fusions, I feel that this could also Rank 5 somewhat well. The Friendly Maneuver cards make very good Beast-Type support, just as some of the Fire Formations are present in nearly all Beast-Warrior decks. I just realised that Fox-Kin is a Tuner that is capable of Summoning Synchro fodder of any Level. This is powerful, but I feel that with the current amount of powercreep in Yugioh that it is excusable. This deck can also summon Crystal Wing rather nicely. I love Monkey's Kali Yuga effect. Lion looks like a balanced Norden. I like that. To criticize these cards is very difficult because they are so cute and the deck looks so fun. However, if I were to, it would probably be on a basis of PSCT. If you want PSCT fixes for these cards, I can do them, but I won't at the moment because 9 cards is a lot. Toffee. Posted May 20, 2016 Author Report Share Posted May 20, 2016 Armz, would you submit these to 2099? They look rather fun.Assuming 2099 is some kind of DevPro mod, or whatever- I have no idea what 2099 is. So this deck seems as if it would synergise very well with the Raccoons deck. It also seems like it can Synchro Level 5 very well, but unfortunately cannot make Nat Beast. Because of this and the Level 5 Fusions, I feel that this could also Rank 5 somewhat well.I mentioned in the OP why these are geared more towards Level 3 or lower Beasts. Level 2 or lower has things like Raccoons/Obedience Schooled/etc, while Level 3 has a fair share of amusing cards as well. I just realised that Fox-Kin is a Tuner that is capable of Summoning Synchro fodder of any Level. This is powerful, but I feel that with the current amount of powercreep in Yugioh that it is excusable. This deck can also summon Crystal Wing rather nicely.Despite the fact I've mentioned the Archetype will only stick to Fusions, part of why Fox is a Tuner is because adding a Tuner to an Archetype that isn't Synchro-based, but also has the capability to hold it's own field quite well, allows for more experimental plays outside of the Archetype. Shaddoll Falco, for example; It's a Tuner, but Shaddolls don't have any Synchros; Lets you think outside the box and see what else you can make, outside of things like Number 64(Since, you know, the other 2 Main Deck monsters are Level 2/float/etc) I mean, in addition to what I've said about Fox already. I love Monkey's Kali Yuga effect. Lion looks like a balanced Norden. I like that.Lion and Monkey are meant to play off eachother. You might not see it at first glance, but- Lion can recycle Maneuvers to Summon a Beast from Deck/Graveyard, then weakens monsters/deals damage. It also offers protection from possible backrow/etc. Monkey mills a Beast to let you reuse Maneuvers(among other things), then searches a Maneuver. It only negates whatever is face-up. What I'm getting at, is playing both in the same turn can let you push for game, because they do so much together. And you dont have to criticize all of them, if you want to. Hell, you could just do it to like 1-2 of these. Or whatever. Regardless, thanks. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
