[Leaderboard] Yuuji vs Abdel (Cards are up)

Rules:

• All Leaderboard rules apply
• First to 3 votes or most votes by deadline wins.
• All voters must elaborate on their votes or else the vote will be rejected.
• Both contestants have the right to refuse votes, but must explain why they don't accept it.
• Card C votes are allowed in case the voter thinks both cards don't deserve a vote but must elaborate on why he/she thinks so.
• PM the cards to me, and written is preferred.
• In case a downtime or an emergency happens, the deadlines may be extended.

Deadlines:

• The deadline for entries is 48 hours 
• The contest ends after 3 days of cards being posted.
• In case of a challenger failing to meet the above deadline without explanation, the challenger slot will open up again, at which point it becomes first-come-first-serve between the previous challenger's and new submissions.

Rewards:

• The winner gets a rep from the loser.
• All voters get a rep for voting

Cannot be destroyed by battle once per turn. During either player's turn, when a card or effect is activated that would inflict damage to anyone: You can Special Summon 1 monster that lists "Red-Eyes" in its name or card text from your hand, Deck, or Graveyard, and if you do, negate the activation. You can only use this effect of "Witch with Eyes of Red" once per turn. You can only control 1 "Witch with Eyes of Red".

I think imma go with card A on this one.

 

Card A is the red-eyes equivalent of ancient white stone, and it does a good job of it. Being able to rez any DARK dragon is great, and then being able to tutor any red-eyes is great. Not only that, but it makes it so that any RE Gemini gets its effect, allowing you to get out a meteor to save your red-eyes from destruction.

 

Card B is another RE counterpart, this time copying blue eyed maiden. Yes, it's a free summon, yes it makes synch8 accessible, and yes it can tutor any red-eyes whatever, but the latter comes at the cost of negating the effect damage you would deal to your opp, unless you're fighting chain burn or the mirror. Since most of the time you want to have that burn there, I say that this card is kinda counter-productive.
