六兆年と一夜物語
10/10. Great OCG, reasonable effect, and you can torment your opponent by sending a BEWD after it's been "Book of Moon"'d.

DonRoyale
Guardian Sphinx is laughing. But I like that, unlike GS, it doesn't have pitiful ATK. It's a balanced card. Too bad it'd be dead before it could get to flip (just because of how...insane destruction effects are these days). 6.9/

Jovi Siagian
Well, it should have that Psychic's generic effects, decreasing Life Points. But it doesn't matter though. 9/10.

Ғαlşє 0ρρяєşşịợи
hmmm.. It seems a little OP'd. I mean, you could flip it into attack position and return all the monsters to the owners hand and then just attack directly, main phase 2, flip it down.. Kind of cheap.. LostLetter227
hmmm.. It seems a little OP'd. I mean' date=' you could flip it into attack position and return all the monsters to the owners hand and then just attack directly, main phase 2, flip it down.. Kind of cheap..[/quote'] Nonsense. There's something called "Monster Destruction". Also, Guardian Sphinx has a similar but better effect. I love this card! Reasonable effect and stats. And I have a few fixes: "Once per turn during your Main Phase, you can flip this card into face-down Defense Position. When this card is flipped face-up, all face down and non-Psychic-Type monsters on the field are returned to their owners' hands." Also, shouldn't it be "Flip Summoned" instead of flipped face up? In that case, I have a question. If it is attacked in face down position, does the attacking monster get returned to the hand too?
Skyson
[spoiler=This does not apply unless the change below is made.]Guardian Sphinx is laughing. But I like that' date=' unlike GS, it doesn't have pitiful ATK. It's a balanced card. Too bad it'd be dead before it could get to flip (just because of how...insane destruction effects are these days). 6.9/10[/quote'] Also unlike GS, it's a Synchro and Psychic-type. Being of the Rock-type, Guardian Sphinx lacks Mind Over Matter to support its Type. Being Psychic-type opens up a lot of potential for defending this card while it flip-flops the opponent to death. There's a lot of options with this. Guardian Sphinx has nothing but its big DEF. Rocks need more love. =( 10/10. Great OCG' date=' reasonable effect, and you can torment your opponent by sending a BEWD after it's been "Book of Moon"'d.[/quote']Who uses BEWD these days anyway? It's really that tough to see, or even imagine, that "BEWD" just stands for (besides Blue-Eyes White Dragon, pre-defense for literals) "a monster with 2000+ ATK" that can run it over while in face-down Defense Mode? >_> This card, I like it. Level 7 Psychic-type, very much yes. Psychic Lifetrancer fails hard, and I would love to see this as a replacement for the Level 7 Psychic-type Synchro of choice. The Psychic-type Deck I [used to] run was littered with crazy amounts of defensive options. I ran it almost like a Counter Trap Deck, I had 2 or 3 Bountiful Artemis in it at one point. The Deck has very few heavy hitters outside of the Synchros, so keeping the maindeck Psychics alive and on the field, especially the Tuners, has to be accomplished somehow. I'd love to have this. Playing a bunch of defensive cards is great, but if I'm defending to the point where I have no offense to play, I still don't get myself any further. Synchroing into this suddenly puts pressure on my opponent to run into my defensive options, then punishing them either way. The real downside to it is the lack of support it can get from Psychic-needing cards. It can't be protected by Thought Ruler Archfiend's effect, or the Trap that activates when a Psychic-type monster you control is attacked, I think Telekinetic Power, too lazy to check. Not overly used, but it's an option they have. Still, all the other weird options you can run to protect this while hosing down the opponent's monsters will run an opponent into the ground. Almost to the point where this is broken. But really, it isn't. You have to have the material to Synchro Summon into it, then you'll probably need to have some defensive cards set up. Putting it into face-down Defense removes its ability to be in attack position, so a Gladiator Beast can take it down by swapping into Murmillo after a flip-up by attack. It's a very interesting Synchro for the Psychic-type Deck, I would certainly give it a try. Black Rose Dragon is usually the Level 7 Synchro of choice, but this (usually) doesn't make me get rid of any of my own cards. Good card. Isn't the word "surreptitious" though? 9/10. edit: BACK UP. I did not notice that it said "flipped face-up" instead of "Flip Summoned." Change that RIGHT NOW. That's stupidly broken. He has to be killed while face-down, making him amazing and virtually unattackable without reprocussion. No, no, no, one hundred times no. Change it to Flip Summoned, then my rating will apply. 6/10 without the change. That's bad.
