yeah but sometimes they use the word alien to describe an animal that in a area that isn't in it's origin

yeah, and you see this all the time in films: anything that even LOOKS intimidating must be killed, I bet Fenrir will play some degree of this concept into his fic as well

Most people would have tried killing it "just to make sure it can't do anything" (see this in sci-fi films all the time)
